Damn, 11th place.

I was hoping for better than that. How on earth jmr run's times like that is beyond me. Super human capabilities spawned by the old Nazi regime of the second world war I suppose. Damn Krauts.

How the hell do you use it on the PS2? I thought it was a PC wheel.

Boom, can you download my replay and tell me what I did wrong? I've been DA'd over at GTN.

I guess this effectively tells me what I've been thinking all along.

If you can give me pointers as to what happened, I'd appreciate it.

OK, something funny is going on...

I saw a DA next to my name on teh replay review board for round #8. I posted a question as to why I was DA'd. I come back from lunch and both the DA and my question are gone...

Lotus, Boom? you guys know what's going on over there?

Some disagreements in the rules yet again :rolleyes: Iforce was reviewing the replays in the same sense of race 7 but someone kindly pointed out that there was nowhere where the rule stated such a thing for race 8.

I tell you what! that place is flamers heaven :lol: I'm keeping out , just watching the show :D

The race of Der Alta has 21 wall touches,16 of them are under 5 mph.The others are 14,9,8,7,6 mph.A time penalty has no meaning because he already finished last.10 of these touches happen in the first 2 laps.Im giving it a DA for not being run in the spirit of the rules.
 
I honestly don't recall 21 wall touches.

I don't know what happened, and in watching the replay, I couldn't find 21 wall touches. Before I get too heated up about this, I'll sit and watch the replay a few more times tonight to see what it really looked like.

Can you do me a favor Boom, and look at the replay too?

I DL'ed the replay that you posted and upon reviewing it there are many wall touches in it. Sorry Alex. I don't know if there were 21 touches there, but there are quite a few. If Iforce has recorded your replay on a VCR then he is probably seeing more touches than I can. He would probably consider a wall touch to be any drop in speed at all. I had wall touches counted against me that had a speed loss of only 1mph. But no sense in getting upset about it at all as Monaco is a very, very tight track and who the hell knows what the rules are now? You did your best and I'm happy with that.:)
 
This is the point where hindsight says, I should have submitted the slower time.
