All this shows is that the slipstream model of GT5 is a mess. There is no way any of these cars in real life could go 300mph+ no matter how many slipstreams you can get.

With the right aerodynamics & body shape/power it's possible. depends on what u draft though. Bigger would be better, but the X1's fan probably has enough power to pull a car (not greatly).

Hit 334.7 x1 proto no draft. It was still pulling then just stopped. Rpm kept climbing then would fall 60 rpm or so.this was right at 15000 rpm,so I wasn't on the limiter.

I just recently cracked 350mph/563kph in my Mercedes SL 600 (R230) '04 online. The Veyron fanboys weren't too happy lol

Wow. Alot faster than me at 321mph

I was racing a couple of guys in X2011s and we all hit 420MPH (not a typo)

I was running in my X2011 with 2 other guys and bounced off my limiter twice at 430mph with some room still left to spare behind the two other racers. When checking back on the replay, the two guys were together and bouncing off their limiters between 360-370mph. A lot more than 430mph is possible.

I'm going to set a room up on either Sunday or Monday evening (GMT time) and try and get a few people that know how to set up their X1's to surpass 400mph. I'll think I'll call it "The 450+mph club" :dunce: Genious and imaginative, I know.

450mph is my next target to beat, which shouldn't be difficult, but I'm seriously wondering if 500mph will be possible off of a very well placed train of cars that have all been appropiately tuned. Each person will have to sling shot past one another, with the person at the very back reaping all the benefits and hitting a ridiculous speed.

I think it can be done. 💡

Got 338mph last night WITHOUT a draft in X2011. Got 405mph and bounced of the limiter. I have a picture, but since it has to be a filetype nobody has ever heard of, I can't post it, even put it on photobucket and it still says invalid.... stupid website...

Don't know if it was mentioned before and if it was I apologize but if you drive into the exit of the pit lane and push start, your car will reset in the lane, then unpause and your car will stay permanently ghosted. After that, you can drive inside the other players' cars and draft more efficiently.
