I have been trying for 3 days now to beat 520km/h. How you have done this is quite an acheivement 👍. I have adjusted many settings for the gearing to 550km like you have said (there are more than a few; whether the bias is towards top end or accelaration) but I still cannot pass 520. I have even backed it up at the start line for an edge :banghead:. Is there some secret setting you're not telling us? :confused:
 
Just got 331.1 MPH in the X2011 Prototype (the newest one).. in the speed test, no draft. My first day playing w/ speed tests. In the replay file I saved it says 332.5 MPH, not sure why. Will have to watch replay back to see. *1585 HP

Write a detailed description about your car and gearbox setup please.
I have an X2011 with 1657 hp and i can't go above 517,8 kph in the speed test no matter what.

353mph with the Viper STR10 ACR
363mph with the Veyron
533mph with the X2011 in the race with LewisHamilton where he reached 556mph:crazy:

I don't get more than 539,4km/h. I tested several transmission setups, but it's not possible to get faster. After 5000m i reached maxspeed.

How the?!?!? Im only just hitting a top speed of 515km/h at 9000m...
 
My SL600 (R230) '04 has hit 331MPH (would of done more if it kept drafting)
Without draft it does 273MPH

Edit: why is "SL600" highlighted in red? :S
I'm on the iOS App so I don't know how to change it. Is anyone even seeing it or is it just me?

Do tyres make a difference to speed? I can't see any difference in my results whether I use Racing Hard or Racing Soft.
Are you guys tuning the 7th and Final gears only or do you include 1-6?
Any tips you guys can give us or post the settings already....you're killing us:banghead:
I don't know how an X2011 with 1597hp can reach a higher speed than a 1635hp one? I have played around with gear settings for a while now.

I went over 615 km/h, well over 385 mph... I forget the exact number. Drafting obviously.

Will have to try tuning for speed test.

You obviously haven't read very far back through the thread. He achieved this speed while in my room, where I went even faster, then uploaded the video to Youtube. I'm not going to post the video straight here because I've already done that, but I will provide the link.

Set downforce to 50/200
Suspension: front min, rear max
Transmission: -final gear to 5.000, then max speed to 500, after that set the final gear to 2.000 and every gear to min. So you have a theoretical maximum speed of nearly 1000mph. You see it, that i reached my max speed in the 5th gear in this race. But this is really too much so i set it after that race to 625mph.
Now you need a lobby with other X1s drivers who use the same settings, low penalties and strong draft.
We did this speed with only 6 people. I think with more drivers you can get much faster. ;)

If the game has issues with full rooms under normal racing I'd hate to see what I is like at 600 mph plus.
