CAn you guys hand me a cou[ple of tips on what i can do to give it more oversteer... It seems to turn well when its going slow, but big long corners like on the superspeed way and rome circuit just cause it to run off and hit the wall...

how fast should i be takin corners in the RUF?
my wrx can take the last chicane of midfield one faster than i can in my RUF because it hits the walls, i cant pull it to the sides enough

it depends on the degree of the turn
some cars are better at making different turns then others. slow down right before you hit the turn and sort of cut through the curve.  the sport brakes upgrade helps me alot with braking.

soften the rear suspension, jack up the limited slip to the rear (turn it down on the front), decrease the brake balance to the rear, turn down TCS and ASC.

Get the device(forgot the name of it) that lets you manually adjust the amount of torque distributed to the front and rear wheels of a 4wd vehicle.  Set it so the slider is all the way to the left.  That way it will handle a lot more like a rear wheel drive car, so there will be less understeer, but more oversteer.  You can adjust the device to your likings of course, i was just saying that is the setting that produces the least amount of understeer.

Yep, I have the Ruf CTR 2 and I have the hardest time to make this car turn when I'm going fast.  I think if you use med-slicks or solfer tires it should hold the road better.  =)

Why would with softer tires make the car have more understeer?  Softer tires have more grip but wear faster so more grip is what he needs.

RockyMaivia, the RUF CTR2 is a 4WD.  Even if it was a 2WD softer tires will have more grip out of a turn.  Try and test it on some of your cars in your game.  =)

I KNOW it is 4wd, that is why i said he should get the device that would let him change the balance of torque between front and rear.  Anyway, i am not going to argue anymore...

To confuse you even more, you can buy different grades of tire and put different types front & rear to change the handling! :) Try putting softer tires up front on the RUF, I haven't tried this myself but it 'should' let the fronts grip thru a turn and rear tires slide out a bit. Might make for easier corners?

Yeah, i was gonna recommend putting soft tires up front and hard in the rear but i didn't know if he would want to spend the money to do that, hehe
