GT7's content updates have occurred 8 times a year for the last two years, with 2022 having 9 updates instead (or 10 if you count the Human Comedy update). We're already 5 in, so it's not too far-fetched to say that we might be getting a few more updates pushed back.

6 cars:

1 race car: Nissan R390 GT1 1998
1 sport car: BMW M4 2021
1 SUV: Hyundai Creta 2022
1 meme car: Daihatsu Mira TR-XX 1997
1 classic car: Plymouth 'cuda 340 six barrel 1970
1 Super car: Lamborghini Huracan STO 2021

New track:

- Tahiti Maze

Okay, since 1.56-1.60 did not feature a Toyota, I’m going with
- new GR Yaris Automatic 2025 or Toyota Corolla FX-16 1987.
Hatchbacks are a safe bet… umm, prediction :D. A hatchback with a turbo and 4WD are definitely high probabilities and classic FF hatchbacks and people movers have been added regularly(EF, Kangoo, EG, R4). We even had an all FF update two years ago for 1.38.

Back to the high cost updates after a little Credit break, it’s time again to predict the:
- Ferrari 512S Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
We did just have an Italian race car added to the game, but the Porsche 917K has been so lonely and Le Mans just passed. Shame it wasn’t added last year to mark the 1969 car’s fifty-fifth anniversary.

Going out on a limb or on an island with no coconuts with this one:
- Nissan Primera 2.0 TE 1994
I was thinking the first year of the P10, but the way PD are picking classic models, seems like they scan what they can find. I mean, we didn’t get the EF SiR and now the Citroën BX isn’t the 16V model. I’d think the best Primera they’d find, let’s say in Japan rather than the UK, would be last of the latest model P10 before the facelift P11.

i think that next update we will get 4 cars:

Porsche Cayenne 2022 GTS (PD very good relationship with porsche and recently we have got a lot of suvs)
Toyota Yaris 2004 (Nod to older games, its just a GT car)
BMW M4 Competiton Coupe 2021 (At this point its a addition that will come sooner than later)
Toyota Supra 2025 Last Edition (Other obvious addition considering PD likes)

I am going to go off book for prediction. 1991 Nissan Figaro for a quirky car for something sporty let's go with Xiaomi Ultra and the Toyota Roomy. Roomy would be like a kei minivan. If course scapes and engine swaps

Nissan Qashqai: Because last Nissan was added more than half a year ago and because of the crossover/m..family car trend

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: Because we need one sports car in the update and we know its coming soon.

Another one: No idea what it could be but no kei car, no rally car because of the recent additions. Maybe the Fiat Panda?

No track, no new features.
Sophy for 1-2 more tracks/layouts.

This is seems like whishlist, but is actually a very good prediction. Remember old video about PD work? There was short clip of making shots of mountain from helicopter which happened to be Eiger ;) In the same video there where some bannana leafs being photographed hinting Tahiti Maze :D

Cars also seems to be very realistic, amd 6 car update with a track do fit in.

"I'd say look at the general theme of the March and May updates, since to me it looks like PD have mostly pivoted to "sporty thing, quirky thing, family thing" @TheAdmiester (Btw, carry on these little teases, it's great to predict and not being completely in the FOG)

So let's go for the prediction!
March Update : Aston Martin Vantage '18, Mazda CX-30 X Smart Edition '21, Renault Kangoo 1.4 '01
May Update : Corvette Z06 C5, 812 Superfast, CRV, Suzuki Carry

So 3 or 4 cars (I will go for 3), no track these update (I will predict the next track in September for the upcoming World event), 3 to 5 engines swaps, 1 new added menu and another Sophy track update. Hoping for an exciting thing/feature...

For the "Sporty thing" : Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 '22 : Complete the Countach collection
For the "Family thing" : Renault Espace II 2.2i '96 : Same generation as Espace F1, and the Espace (mostly the first gen Espace though) changed every manufacturer vision of a family car. Considering PoDy added a lot of french cars recently...
For the "Quirky thing" : Nissan Cube, either the '20 (last version) or the '02 (GT4 version) : Quirky enough, give memory of GT4 mission...

@TheAdmiester : Can you maybe tell me if I'm close enough or totally wrong? :D

Five cars:

Ferrari 499P '23
Fiat Panda Super i.e. '90
Honda Civic Type R (FD2) '08
Mercedes-AMG One '22
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra '25

Total after download: 541 cars

Basically some cars that people want (Ferrari 499P, Honda Civic Type R FD2), the Fiat Panda, and some of the Nurburgring's fastest, including the guaranteed Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. No new track.

Well, I had forgotten that video, and after watching again...

These are captures from the video:

If you pay attention to the last two, you can see two flowers from Tahiti. The first one is possibly a "thunbergia erecta" and the second one is the typicall local flower, the "Gardenia Tahitensis"

I don't know...

Just Saying Bernie Sanders GIF by Saturday Night Live

3 cars :
  • Nissan Juke NISMO '13
  • Ford Econoline (E-Series I) '61
  • McLaren 720S '17

3 World Circuits events
1 Scape location
1 Extra Menu
Gran Turismo Sophy available at Willow Springs Raceway
I wouldn't hold my breath on that one since PD hasn't added a new McLaren to GT7 the entire time GT7 has been out.

Cars (4):
  • Nissan Juke NISMO RS ‘18 - retains the SUV style cars added to the game but perhaps to change the trend slightly, they add a performance version and also gives Nissan that SUV style cars added.
  • McLaren 720S ‘18 - would update the McLaren cars and makes sense of the “quick” car that could next be added.
  • Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo MR ‘98 - standard car return from the series and feels like it would be the type of older sports car that can be added to GT7.
  • Volkswagen Type 181 ‘73 (VW “Thing”) - the “quirky” choice and something very rogue. Seems like such a PD “thing” to add to the game, if they can add the Unimog, then why not??

Tracks (0):
- Don’t think we’ll have a new track for this next update.

Scapes (3):
- Can’t predict exactly where but I reckon about 3 new ones will be added.

GT Sophy Tracks (1):
- Watkins Glen Full Course - a popular track players want to have the GT Sophy ability so could be next in line (only 1 course this time though I reckon).

Menu Books (1):
  • Dodge Muscle Cars - requires the Charger ‘68, Challenger ‘70 and Super Bee ‘70 and rewards a 4* Roulette Ticket.
  • I don’t think a new race menu will appear (I know a Dodge one already exists but I predict a Dodge Muscle Cars themed one using these classic muscle cars).
Edit: I only just realised the Fist Coupe Turbo Plus ‘00 is a datamine car and by what we may have learned for the next one, there’s none from that list so had to change it to I think a fairly appropriate prediction as we have the ‘91 in the game so having the newer one would be reasonable.

I think this update won't have either the Fiat Panda or a Xiaomi. I feel both will come in September.
No track, Motegi will get unveiled at one on the GTWS events later this year.
As for July/August:

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition (continues the SUV/Crossover trend)
1992 Subaru SVX L (another quirky car)
1998 Nissan R390 GT1 (endless doom pick)

Hopefully Watkins Glen gets Sophy.

True. Sad. I cant understand why they forget about so many IMPORTANT brands.
Correct if I am wrong, but I read somewhere (probably in this forum) that the problems with Lotus started when they find oit how much.PD was paying of licensing to Mclaren, so probably that could impact the relationship between PD and Mclaren??🤔

Same as this month, I predict 3 cars, 3 races, some scapes, and maybe sophy added to a couple of tracks.

Likely one of the cars will be a SUV if going by the previous updates. I'm imagining it'll be a Citroen SUV this time since we just got a Peugeot SUV. Car #2 could be an endurance racer, though I don't know what era or class. It probably won't be a rally car since we just got one and PD has gone through months between adding Rally Cars. I think the 3rd car will be another French hot hatch or sporty sedan, I'm thinking a Renault this time. Because one update already added a Peugeot Hot Hatch, the next added a Citroen 4-door, so now it's gotta be a Renault.

If it isn't a French car, then it might be Japanese again. If it is, then I'll see a Nissan hot hatch as a wild prediction. Either a March Super Turbo or Pulsar GTI-R. The 1987 EF Civic Si indicates to me that 80s & 90s JDM hot hatches are on PD's mind, hench the choices.

It wasn't specifically mentioned as McLaren, only a brand Lotus felt was of similar status. I know I speculated that it might be McLaren, as that's the only one I could think of that was in the game and could be considered a similar premium/prestige/volume, but that's not definitive.

Also 1.60 has barely settled... and given that PD has thus far skipped one July, one August, one September, and one October for updates in GT7's lifetime, we don't know that July will even have one.

My only prediction is: no track. Next track is going to be in september sfter the live event or november after los angeles

Xiaomi SU7. The Nurburgring addition to the banner suggests to me that we'll see it this release, also very possible we may be adding the VGT to the same one as well.

Ferrari F355. We need a classic supercar same as the C5 Corvette did some gap filling and I'm surprised this isn't already in the game, would make me happy for a start.

BMW M4 (G82? I think?) I know I sound like a broken record but talking about gap filling once again (and I don't mean those damn grilles on it) this one would cap things off nicely.

Ford Puma ST. We're doing a lot of crossovers and decided to have a break from predicting a Nissan, which probably means we'll see the Juke next time round. They may well go well with a slower model than this but I hope they don't.
