I think the posts saying "dont do it", M5, are more directed at a ways of support for the guy.
My sibling went through a similar experience as Rumple a few years ago, and I have also suffered from mild depression - although not to the extent of Rumple or my brother.
The point is that when you start perceiving the world to be crumbling, the last thing you think of doing is going to a medical practitioner to get medication. At that point,in your mind, there is no hope, there is no way out. Yes it is illogical and irrational, but that is what depression is.
Rumple, when/if you read this thread, really think about what your life is. It is more then one lousy girl. There are better females who will make you happier.
