I'm sorry that I show no sympathy for him anymore. I used to care, but not anymore. These threads are just annoying now. They're just here to stir **** around.
If he really cared about anyone at GTP he wouldn't kill himself, and he sure as hell wouldn't talk about it, and make threads about it. He's a coward with severe mental issues, and needs years of therapy/counseling to get better.
Either that or he's just an attention whore yanking everyone around.
I've had 2 very close friends of mine kill themselves in the past 2 years. They were just as messed up as he is. I have sympathy for the friends/family of those who kill themselves, but not for those who kill themself.
We should start deleting all of these damn Andrew/suicide threads as soon as they're created. Suicide is illegal, and you're not supposed to use the GTP forums to discuss any illegal activities.
But trying to encourage a person to take another path is not illegal.
It's sad that you've become so calloused that one person's life means so little to you.
A little story about the importance of one.
In the 50's in Korea there was a young man in the war there.
He drove a water truck that was used to put out fires.
One nite there was a fire and some of the drivers were wakened to take thier water to the fire. Several drivers were already there with their trucks and the fire was being fought.
The young man in the first sentence came very close to going back to bed as the others seemed to have things well in hand.
He drove over anyway. Turns out that the others were just about out of water. That last truck's load was the one that put the fire out.
That story is true. The driver of the last truck was my father. A poor sharecroppers son from "niddle nowhere" North Carolina. His truck was full, and he answered the call to action. He may have even saved a life or two on that night.
Rumple's spirit is a lot like that fire. Maybe one of us is "driving the truck" with the water that will put out that suicide "fire."
If you go back to the first thread about his "self destructive" pattern, You will note that he expressly asked us not to try and help, just to listen while he blew off steam.
If you were in his shoes, would you want your friends to rally around you and offer their support, no matter what you choose to do? Or would you want us to write you off?
If you've been paying attention (yes, that means clicking away from the Paris Hilton sex video--The film quality is terrible anyway)
He's already been written off by his folks. That may have been the fuel for the spark in him that started after Melanie was killed.
Andrew didn't ask for your sympathy, he asked for a place to speak his mind with no recriminations.
Give the man that much. Yours may be the voice that brings him back from the edge of the precipice.
