ahahahaha.... i can honestly say that i knew the RX7 had this one. Evo's are good cars, don't get me wrong. But the RX7.... THE RX7 is the ROTARY ROCKET!!!

SR20 has the best time... With an RX-7!! MUHAHAHAHA!!

That is why I choose the Evolutio, so I could see how far I could push the car, but apparently 1 lap in each is not enough  . . . plus you know I'm a rotary man :D

weLL this was good fun while it lasted.... shaLL we keep running Laguna until March 3rd? start a new "battle"? what d'you guys think?

How about Camaro versus Skyline? or Grandsport? or Civic versus FTO? or Monster7 in a AE86 versus us in a skyline ?

I dont think theres anyway we can break a stock evo down to 1"30...

no, but I think it has the ability to get down to the 1'31s at least :D

What track benefits the Evo's? NO Rally tracks.

and good luck with the 1'31.

Good Luck in that Ae 86

haha that's funny...

how about a tuned FD and evo battle? let our tuning skills come to play... i'd suggest a 450HP limit, SPORTS TIRES ONLY, NO WEIGHT REDUCTIONS, NO DRIVETRAIN MODS, NO LSD MODS, STRICTLY SUSPENSION and BRAKE BALANCE tuning....

¿anyone up for it?

ummmm... i'm down... but are the others?

Give me an AYC and I'll test it out. . . but you need drivetrain mods minus the LSD

what kind of drivetrain mod do you feel that you NEED?

give me a clutch, a flywheel, and Gears :D but not just for the evolution I mean for both cars :D

blah blah i'll post my time anyway

Lancer Evolution VI RS

T1 0'24.173
t2 0'45.441
T3 1'08.483

1'33.119

I think it's possible to break into the 1;32

Wow thats a good time... im driving the EVo VII RS and only hit 1'35.611 so far... but ill drive hte VI next.

As for what track it would be a better challenge... Grand Valley and apricot... i would definate do better there then in this track... even though the Evo might still not win there... who knows i just rather do those track then this. For some weird reason i dislike the corkscrew..

the VI RS is lighter than the VII RS. i feel the VI RS has less understeer when you exit a corner at full throttle but it's not as balanced as the VII RS when you go full brake into a corner. the VII RS has stronger braking and a little more HP but i prefer the evo VI over the evo VII :D

laguna seca is a pretty precise course... there's no room for error when running for a fast lap time.... each corner makes a big difference here...

i'm definitely down for Grand Valley or Apricot Hill...

Traitor!!

What track, and what mods are allowed?

what about Grand Valley II, Apricot Hill II instead?

I'll do a reverse on either of those courses :D. . . Would anyone mind if I run a Mustang or Camaro SS just to see how American Domestic does against the Japanesse powerhouses?

let's make it final...
how about Grand Valley II

Sports Tires ONLY...
ALL MODS EXCEPT Weight Reduction....

can i get a YEA???

Yea :D

I guess get ready for some real tire marks and skids on that track :D excellent choice for tracks :D
