i got an rx7 and i love it. its fast, handles well and good brakes, as long as you have it tuned up good. im jus wonderin how many other ppl use an rx7

Yeah, I know this is an ancient thread ... but COME ON, the RX-7 is a fourth the price of a RUF.

Yeah, when you're sitting on 9 Million credits, cost just kind of goes out the window. Someone mentioned an interesting challenge a while back. Set a price limit and pick a course. Then each player gets to build a car and can not spend more than the set limit. His example was $100,000 for the car, oil change, all the parts, and tires ... I thought it was a good idea.

i have a RX-7 Fully tuned. Forgot how much hp is has but i think its close or about 700. It is a great value for starting off.

yeah, it's a fun competition .....my friend and i always do it .....but i always lose cause i go Euro and he goes Japanese and we all know Japanese cars are a better value .....maybe someday i'll set up this competition or if you're anxious you can be my guest .....perhaps Grand Valley would be a more suitable course

My favorite car in the game is the RUF RGT. So far I haven't built a faster car in the 400m(except for the Escudo ). Sadly the Supra's and Skyline's don't even come close to beating it. I also haven't built an Rx-7 that will compare to it, but maybe someday...

Try the Esprit, with that code(shhhhh) it gets to 1089 HP, and I ran a 2.1 sec 0-60, I forgot the 400m time.

Exactly what code are you using? Is it a gameshark code? If you don't wanna tell me on here, could you please send me a PM explaing it more in detail? Thanks...

My RGT currently has 1099(last time I checked, but it may have went down due to the fact I neglect the car it's due oil changes) Never have checked 0-60, but it had a best 400m ET of 8.7XX. That's without messing with each individual gear ratio...

uhhh, I have to talk to the creator of this code, it's sorta top secret, I can tell you it makes the cars have the final HP(like you sup up the car, and drive it and when the oil light comes on, you change the oil and you have the top HP).

I'll post it here when I get the OK.....

10 Laps round a course,midfield is a good choice as it's difficult to cut corners and it's pretty short.
Best overall time
Best lap time (for the 1 lap wonders )
Best speed perhaps
100,000 credits
Round the World and meet in Leicester Square in say 80 days?....Got carried away
