RX8 Exhaust Video

1. Warm up engine

2.Get the exhaust red hot by running the car over 6k RPMs for several minutes

3.Come to a stop or at least keep it under 60 MPH (slower = bigger flames)

Rev it hard (WOT) and lift off on the throttle quickly

INSTANT FLAMES!!!

As you can see, it is not easy to get flames because the conditions have to be perfect to ignite the unburnt fuel. Likewise I have not seen any damage to the paint or body work on the car but your mileage may vary.

If the pig rich fuel maps are corrected the flames will probably go away for good.
 
I've seen those system.. This guy I know has one that sounds like a jet engine when the flames come out for like 10 secs.....

This isnt one of those fire throwing system. This is just an regular exhaust system they bought. Nothing special. In the 2nd post it said how he did it.

Although I dont really like RX8 all that much, i feel that there are better car for that price. Anyways, yeah, that RX8 sounds very nice.
 
I got a friend who doesn't believe that it is possible to do that, with out a thrower. How do I convince him otherwise without him being able to see the video?

You can explain to him this.
