The way i did it was to use manual and never go below 2nd gear.
I'd shift up the gears up the hill then down to 2nd for the tight hairpin... then back up the gears for the tunnel and back down to 2nd for the chicane... back up the gears then i think i used 3rd for the left, right, right, left... then finaly 2nd for the tight last two corners... shift up through the gears over the line...
i got bronze second time out doing that... plus it converted me over to manual gears in the process... much more control over your speed... plus it doesn't shift down at stupid moments like automatic does.
