Double click on a part and go to edit part. It's a little fiddly (X, Y & Z axis sliders) but you can do it.

If you know how to do it, then yes.

Yes, it's again another tedious process, but in the end worthwhile! For example I made a Fiat 1000 with S-tuner parts, but the actual 595 base was imported from Forza 4.
