It looks fun, as you can expect from a Saints Row game but the driving still looks as whacky as ever . It was a let down in the previous games but it was easy to work around, other than that, the game is now on my to buy list :P.

Ever since this was announced, I have been going crazy for it. It looks amazing.

But I wonder.. Have they added the ability to pick up women/men? Cause I know that was always fun to do in GTA.

This game looks so awesome, and I loved the first two.

I'll be buying this on or near release date for sure.

I want this game, but my Mum doesn't wanting me want this game..

A shame really, this series is a brilliant, fun alternative to the more series GTA series.

The first two slipped past my radar as they looked bad and were too unrealistic.

But this one looks great and looks like a lot of fun! Will definitely be buying this one...

I have Saint Row 2 for the PC and I have to say.... that game certainly takes a lot of processing and graphical power to run smoothly!

Is the 3rd one more optimised?

Saints Row 2 PC port was done by an external company (CD Projekt and no, that's not a typo). Saints Row The Third PC port is done by Volition themselves, and here's a preview of how much they worked on it:

Yep, that's the game running on a three screen setup.

Sounds like wrestling inspired a lot of the decisions in this game.

I read a magazine article on SR3, and in the developer insight column, the guy just went on a rant about meeting Hulk Hogan, but losing his camera afterwards...

Tell her if you were mature enough for GTA at three years old, you'll be fine with this.

Actually, there's an wrestling activity/mission (I'm not sure what it is) called "Murderbrawl", and there are wrestling "costumes" for both genders. Why? Because there's a Wrestler In All Of Us (warning, TVTropes ahead, try not to get hooked)

Let me tell you something. This is going to be a CRAZY game! I just joined the Saints Row players club last weekend playing "Saints Row 2" for the PS3. I'm not ready for "Saints Row: The Third" yet since I have played about 20% completion of "Saints Row 2." But, man... SR3 is going to be absolutely INSANE! The only deterrents would be if SR3 had lots of bugs or a lot of nagging issues. But other than that, I see no way that SR3 will disappoint.

Just playing "Saints Row 2" filled gaps in trying to connect with GTA4. This third installment is going to be both entertaining and futuristic. There are some crazy weapons, vehicles, and other things in this title. Pretty fun combat. Can't wait for this one!

I've recently preordered this game. I'be never played any of the SR series but it looks hilarious. Also I pretty much only play games on pc. Nice to see that the developer are capable of having a same launch day on multiple platforms. It always bugs the hell out of me that I usually have to wait 6+ months for rockstar to release a GTA game on pc after ps/Xbox launch.

Also pre ordered my copy the other day.

I haven't played SR2, but I have seen gameplay videos and tbh it looks awful. SR3 will be the series first real competitor to GTA. Does anyone know what the map will look like?

I downloaded the "Saints Row: The Third" Initiation Station demo. That's the demo where you can play-test creating your own character to be released and used in the full game. You have to download it to get a sample of the sort of customization you can do with your characters. The game has very unreal options for colors for skin and hair. Don't want to be any human color, try having green skin, sapphire skin, or even princess purple skin! Hair colors can be neon or even color-shifting colors. The different customization models are quite interesting. They can also be freaky, too, especially if you attempt to adjust the "Sex Appeal" slider for a male character. I won't explain what happens- find that out for yourself!

If you go on just the player models, the game looks to have a more robust and detailed character model than Saints Row 2's models. The hair and motions look more fluid than in SR2. Some of the different clothes are styled fluidly as well. This said, still can't wait for Saints Row 3.

Early reviews of "Saints Row: The Third" note this game as being absolutely insane and fun. I saw a video from IGN (IGNore) who stated that the game is great, but its ending is weak. G4TV.com gave it a perfect 5 out of 5. IGN gave it an 8.5 out of 10. So this game is definitely worth the $60 USD, at least according to these two sites.

I wiped out the Sons of Samedi and (recently) the Ronin in "Saints Row 2." After I take down the Brotherhood, I may say that I'll be ready for "Saints Row: The Third."
