Hello;
I finally took the time to set up an account on the GTPlanet forums! I have been a follower of the series since the begining, and with GT5 on the brink of unveiling itself to us, I thought it was time I stopped being a faceless consumer in the community, and join the parade of auto-enthusists.
First, a little about myself. I'm 26 and a graduate student studying in Cola, SC (USA). I'm a long time subscriber to "Road & Track" and "Car and Driver". I have been a car lover since I could pick up a Hot Wheels, and have a paritcular love for American classic and modern muscle. Gran Turismo has been my order of choice when it comes to the menu of racing games, and in spite of the negative press and response to GT5 pre-release, it will feel so right to finally have it in my PS3. I've used a Logitec wheel since GT3 (original DF), and Prologue had me upgrade to the DF-GT, which I will keep using for GT5.
I look forward to learning and contributing to this community. I first learned of it when Prologue was anounced, and have referenced to it ever since. I finally decided to join because I look forward to having a community of enthusists who race pure, clean, and fun. I've had too many matches in Prologue that turned into a bumper car session, and that needs to be a thing of the past. I have so much to look forward to in this hobby of ours, and I hope not to be the only one on the tracks looking for a "clean race" when GT5 FINALLY comes home. Cheers to the journey ahead!
