San Andreas - Quick and Easy Cash!

Where is that import/export garage? Is it the Garage whe get from the guy during "Farewell my love"?
No, its at the docks sorta east of that garage. You have to unlock it first, which comes in the course of the storyline.

When do we unlock it?

I'm done with the Mission for the kind of Blue Ball (Last one was "Mike Toreno"), I'm at the mission "Amphibious...." for Wu Zi Mu, nothing done for Zero and I did "Photo Opportunity" for CJ.

Am I close to get it?

go back to SF and do the driving school-- you have to pass all the tests and then you get a call from Jethro letting you buy the car showroom across the street. This unlocks a couple of missions at your garage which opend up inport/export-- I skipped the last driving test and this kept it from opening for me--I just opened it about an hour ago...

This also opens up some races also (start them behind the car showroom)

On the last driving test your target time is 120 seconds-- so you don't have to drive balls to the walls (which I'd done numerous times and failed miserably)-- I did drive really fast on the long straight street on the way there and the way back but take it easy at the far end when you are driving up and down the hills- I passed it in 100 seconds and got a minus 7% for a little bit of car damage---I'm pretty sure you will get 100% if you beat 120 seconds (for time) so as long as your car isn't too damaged you should pass it pretty easily.

Also I noticed that if you put the car in first person (so you can't see the car) that it seems like its harder to hit the other cars when you drive up the middle of the road on the way back. I kept nicking the other cars when I had it on the wider views-- I did this test alot of times so I have alot of experience with it :banghead:

I waited until I opened San Fierro to start making money heavily. I found that the Import/Export Garage provides a decent amount of cash if you take the time to complete it like I did. I now have over 1.5 million because of it.
Yeah thats where i started making most of my money, havent finished I/E yet but already have about 200K. And thats with me having to buy weapons all the time.

I've won about $500,000 at Inside Track in one of the towns in the Los Santos countryside. And I spent $100,000 of it on a house in the middle of nowhere in the San Fierro country side. Didn't even come with a garage. What a waste of money. Still, I suppose it'll count towards 100%.

Yeah i bought that one too, and i was like WTF? when i realised it was basically just a glorified save point

I live in my nice hill on Windy Windy Road. :sly:

If I need money, I take advantage of the Import/Export feature. Much easier, less time-consuming (if you find the cars straight away).

Yeah if you, know where to find them its definately the easiest money in the game. Second would probably be the trucking missions or something of the like.

I did the first trucking mission... it involved taking a truck to somewhere before a certain time... I got $1000 for it... but it was easy...

I suspect that they get harder and worth more each time...

The trucks actually have a decent amount of weight in this game... if you mash a car it flys out of the way... unlike Vice where you'd get knocked out of the way!!

By far, the easiest way to make money is the ITB. Just save, then go and bet everyting you have on the longshot. A couple saves and loads, and you're rich. I walked in with about 270k, left with 3.5 million.

^ I tried that for awhile, after about 15 reloads, I got sick of it and killed everyone in the place, put C4 on the machines and tried to blow them up....no luck

I won another million or so in the ITB in Montgomery so I'm busy buying up all the safe houses I can. May as well buy them sometime.

I think the betting in Montgomery is the best place to gamble, you seem to win more often and Catalina's shack is a nearby save point. I now have 14 million from betting. I bet 1 million on a 1/12 odds horse and won 12 million (obviously). Money is basically no object now.

I really ought to go there, I've only betted small amounts and I never seem to win much so I gave up, but it sounds like a good way to make money.

Im gonna try that Load, reload trick, make me some coinage!
Cheers for the tip Takumi!.

betting hey, i havnt done that,

i just get money from missions i havnt spent much cash. so i dont need to much money i have a bout 110k atm with 8k at the car showroom and 10k at the airfield, so if i need some extra i go there. Once i unlock hunter i might do some vigilanti missions

I still haven't tried my "1-2-3-4-5-Repeat" theory yet. Blake said he was going to do it. If it's true, then it will definately be the best place to win money.

I haven't really gambled at the Casinos yet, and I don't think they would be good, as they are very random. I have done a few goes on the Slots and 1 game on Roulette. Haven't won a thing. :(

Yes I have lots of property. My favorite being the one in SF that is the first house on the zig-zag red brick road. Garage for one and it's big.

The betting in montgomery is 👍 --I walked in with just over 100,000-- bet everything and won my first long shot race. Saved at catalinas shack--took me 3 or 4 more tries before the longshot won again-- ended with just over 20,000,000--- you can conceivalby do this again to max your money but to bet 20,000,000 you will have to hit your bet $10,000-- 2,000 times (and you would have to do this 4 different times to get a billion dollars-- I imagine it would get kind of tedious. I'm thinking vigilante in the hunter is the way to go but will take a bit longer then in VC.

Well if you look in the GTP San Andreas Community, that's my damn house and you keep away! Just kidding.

Roulette!!! (Thank you Jimmy)

Waste some money until you can bet high.......

Bet on one-third of the numbers... And if you win... Well you get a hell lot of money... I tripled my account for winning once... 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 and won again to 5,000,000 so I don't know if there is any easier way to make money....
Well don't for get to save before you bet anything... you might lose everything... Your usual load save crap works well for this....

I went on a property shopping spree and bought all the safehouses :) 👍

I tried it, that theory has no chance in hell of being slightly true, ever, EVER!

Though I did save at Catalina's and on my 2nd longshot race I won 1.7m, I'm going to go back soon and do it again but I've been busy setting up my storyline lately.
