When I try to copy mine it doesn't give me the option to add to USB drive.

I've just tested it and it still works. If it isn't working are you sure your USB drive is inserted correctly?

He means is it in the FAT32 format because that is the only one that the PS3 recognizes.

OK, as I said in your other thread (Why do you need 2 threads), where it says "copy" with the PS+ sign next to it, click it and it should give you options to transfer it to other accounts or to a USB drive if there is one in the correct format connected to the PS3.

I'm not sure about that, I guess you've done a data transfer to a different PS3 and not updated the game? If so, update the game, it'll easily take 12+ hours if your internet is as slow as mine (5.80 Mb/ps download) so I understand why you have chosen not to. The game save should still copy to the USB though, it won't work with the main game though because the Game needs to be at 1.05 or later for a 2.11 save to work with it.

Sorry you say the SYSTEM is not updated as well as the game? If so, yes you should. I have never experienced this before so I am just going off a hunch at the minute.

No the system is, sry I should have specified. The game data isn't updated but the save data is.

I've told you before that your PS3 needs to have a matching GT5 update to the one the game save came from..... if the game save is from 2.11 your PS3 needs to have 2.11 installed.

An older save will work with a newer version of GT5, but the opposite is not possible.

Unless the updates match it won't work.

Plug USB in, press triangle on the save file you want to copy, copy to USB. Remove USB, plug USB into PS3 you want to transfer the save to, copy from the USB to the PS3. Done.

It's worth mentioning that you can't transfer saves between PSNs, if that's what you're trying to do.

As mentioned, you cannot use a v1 save with any other version of the game. It will freeze. Update once then you can use it as you wish, copy to USB etc. pm me if you need more info.
