just pause it
24 Hours of Le Mans had this and it was convenient.
I fully support the idea of pit stop saves. You are able to exit and continue at a point where you, the driver, have no responsibility for control and so you won't even miss a fraction of a second's worth of activity.

I didn't mind in the past because I could just pause, but my PS3 acts as a part-time Internet browser, Blu-Ray and DVD player, music player, photo viewer, and other things that just pausing the game would not allow us to do.
I agree 100% with pit stop saves but only in Endurance Race!
The only thing I've heard about is just pausing the game, so you're kinda stuck with leaving the ps3 on until you finish the race.
I don't think there are any save points . I'm gutted there's no way il b pausing the game and leaving the console on for 40 hours plus.
Gt4 had the right idea about it by been able to speed it up by as much as x3 so u could start endurance then stick it on x3 and sleep .. Think that's gone though.
also I've heard on these forums that the pause option is a bad idea on ps3 . Mines already on the blink due to excessive play.
Looks like il never get to 100%.
I sat through 12 and 24 hour races on GT4, you just have to get a lot of rest before hand and use a lot sugary drinks. Bob could help you get an hour or so sleep on '4 but that option is now gone.
Having a save point would go against the whole point of a simulator. No real Le Mans driver ever had a save point during a stint for him to run to the shop for a box of smokes and a few beers.
I agree it is difficult but if you are serious about GT then it's a necessary evil/experience.
I agree.. But no 24 H racer drives for 24 hours straight.. It would be great if bob could help you get some sleep.. That woul've been realistic imo
Sorry for poor english, hope you guys get my point
I know what you mean, it's why we all need friends/wives to co-drive (3-4 hour stints) when we start to fall asleep!
