anyone know any scary games for ps2, gamecube, & xbox?

i would like to purchase a scary game but i need ur thoughts and info for which is the best.

Of course the Residant Evil series, and Silent Hill. I think that Eternal Darkness is a horror one for gamecube

If this was a poll, I'd vote Silent Hill 2 for PS2. Excellent sound and limited visibility... yikes.

i remember playing half life in the pitch black of my room, late at night, scared out of my mind. hearing somthing that sounded like it would eat me inside out, and thinking "omg omg omg omg, wtf is that sound.....oh ****...wtf is around the corner???!?!?! oh gawwwwwwwddddddddddddddd".
lol Half Life scared the crap out of me
i don't know what kind of experience you would get from it on the console version, but if it's atleast as good as the PC version, it's definetly an awesome game.

Yes yes Silent hill 2 is a very good game to have a scare with. Sounds and music combo is excellent.

I'd probably go with RE 2 and Code Veronica, just because those are the only two I've played so far... You might as well get Zero for GC, since CapCom is backstabbing Sony by not making any more RE games for the PS platforms...(those bastards!) I wouldn't be upset if they built RE games for other platforms, but when they drop the PS platforms, that's where they make me mad!

GC is getting all the RE games, it might be worth it once it goes down in price if you plan to play only a few games on it. Otherwise, PS2 is probably best for sports(my opinion. Just the fact that there's 2 USB slots to plug things into if need be)

anyway i reckon you should wait for "silent hill 3" or play "the thing" thats another very scary game oh and avoid games like "run like hell" a dissapointing game but still a bit gory

Half-Life has always been fun & scary with the gamma brightness turned all the way down. It is a great game but the ending sucked. I would recommend getting that game if you like action.

In no specific order but I do still think Doom 3 is the most scary game I have played up to this point. Some games might not be scary at all to most people but its only a basic list of scary games. You need surround sound to truly appreciate scary games.
