Quick question, I just bought this off of srtgng and was wondering if I would get patches with my US account or if I needed a Euro one?

Yeah - it patches fine in the USA. Any trophies will show up on your personal trophy page on the XMB - but will not show up on the Playstation Network website where you can view any users trophies. It is this way for any PAL game you buy.

That is really a good question,but judging by the info released in Eutechnyx forum I have strong doubts about it...

I don't. I already warned them, if it's not universally compatible, I'm going to show up there in person with a big stick and give random beatings.

Kidding aside, it's been discussed and I think Eutechnyx is smart enough to know that two incompatible versions (at least online) would be a mistake.

Not exactly. If you log in to the US Playstation website only trophies of games that aren't published in the US are missing. You can log in to EU website with an US account and the missing trophies will show up.

I think Eutechnyx is smart enough to know that two incompatible versions (at least online) would be a mistake.

Let's hope they've listened to you.

Pretty damn late if you ask me... I wanted to play this while waiting for GT5, but they sure took their time in doing it. Now GT5 is less than 3 months away, so they aren't getting my money.

I just visited System 3 website to see if there was any news on SCC release in North America.

There was news about a new downloadable game coming:

"Ferrari The Race Experience will be the company’s first AAA game released as download only content for the PS3 format, via Sony’s online PSN Network, and will be followed by another 6 key titles on PS3, PSP, Apple iPad and iPhone (Apple Store) over the next 3 months."

Ferrari The Race Experience is supposed to be available in September; :idea:maybe one of the six will be SuperCar Challenge

I would be a shame if online racing would be not connected to outside of North America though.

SCC will be released in North America by Eutechnyx--they're the ones pushing it. From what I can tell, System 3 is not really involved. Ferrari the Race Experience is something being pushed by System 3--it's essentially Ferrari Challenge with all the DLC. But it will NOT be compatible on-line with current Ferrari Challenge.

Yeah, it sounds like Eutechnyx developed The Race Experience because they had to; possibly in a contract or something.
