I saw it. And i liked it very much. Although i feel like it could have been longer, cause they glossed over a lot of stuff.
But it left a bittersweet taste in my mouth, because of knowing how he ended up.
I think it's very sad that he can't enjoy the fruits of his labor, to see his son follow in his footsteps, and to be there for him.

As a non-Schumie fan, I found it pretty fascinating. Some good insight into the man, with some touching old family photos/videos and interviews. Moving stuff.

A deeper dive into his rivalries would've been nice, and I was surprised that his ruthlessness at Ferrari and their team tactics were left out. I can understand why, but it's hard not to notice that Villeneuve is barely a footnote, and Barrichello is completely absent.

Small nitpicks aside, it's definitely worth a watch, though I felt that 2010's Senna did a better job at showing how complicated these guys can be.

Yes the length or better shortness handcuffed the whole thing too much in my opinion. Many things were missing and for people who aren't into motorsports/F1/Schumacher there were big leftouts in the story. Not any little word about his times at Mercedes in sportscars/Le Mans before F1 which was his first works entry in motorsports. Also a funny little backstory got dropped. He never raced at Spa before his drive at Jordan. Of course Eddy asked Willi Weber (his manager as seen in doc) if he had experience at Spa and he answered it with a yes of course because Spa isn't very far from Michaels hometown etc. etc.. But in reality the first time Michael drove at Spa was on a borrowed bicycle before FP1 😄
But of course I was close to tears at some parts too and the 2 hours flew past in a hurry. But not sure if I would recommend it to non-motorsport friends.

Another thing. What was Mark Webber doing there? There is absolutely close to no connection to Michael except both are ex F1 drivers? And why did he had that much time on air while Vettel as close friend and mentor to Mick had just 10 seconds or even Stefano Domenicali with a very short appearance. Didn't understand this decision to give Webber this stage.

It was well done and I think they covered what they needed in the 2 hours. It's definitely worth a watch.

Webber did race some seasons with Michael, but his bits didn't really add anything here.

As a lifelong Schumi fan, it doesn't really bring anything new in my opinion, but enjoyed it all the same. Doesn't make watching the ending any less sad. I liked that they didn't try to gloss over Adelaide/Jerez and told it like it is (let's face it, we all know who's in the wrong there). They cut out pretty much 2001 onwards, but I guess there are loads of other documentaries touching on those so I can understand the omission. Ditto on the Merc years.

My favourite part is when he was testing at Fiorano at dusk and you can barely see the cars, but during braking you can see the disc glow piercing the dark. That was gorgeous.
