I think the TRD has just one muffler

I only see one pipe going towards the back.

You think the car will be stiff enough with all those powerbraces installed?

I wonder if we'll see a center-mount exhaust like on the mini. There is way too much plumbing under that car.

R1600Turbo
I wouldn't doubt it, but I don't think it would look right on this car.

A tri stack like the LFA has would probaly look pretty cool on it, or even a two tips stacked on each side like on the ferrari california.

I must be the only person who likes the quad tip exhaust. Yeah, It's useless really. But, the TOM'S stacked quad looks great in my opinion.

Bump steer and horrible handling from lowering are gonna be exaggerated with this car.
That's why you install all the corrective suspension arms and links and whatnot that will most likely be developed, to minimize the effect like the 240 drift guys too.

Because I already know I can outdrive the car, therefore I need to improve the car to challenge myself further.

You probably mean smth like lowering spindles...

I'm unaware of any other fix of significant lowering, short of redoing the whole subframe and arm/tierod mounting/rotation points.

Too hardcore for me, I'd rather stay stock, sell stock and buy something else when there isn't enough challenge left with the current car.

NEWS -> Auto Express reports that Subaru are seriously planning for an STI-spec'd BRZ, but heres the catch:

- No Turbo, no space for the I/C on the top or in front.
- No AWD, that would only for the WRX STI (conflict of interest).

^ Heres the ARTICLE.

:)

That's interesting because I read an article a couple days ago that said there might be a higher performance version, but no STi branding.

I shall go in search of it...

Edit: Here we go.

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/26/2013-subaru-brz-first-drive-review-video/

I asked Masuda-san point-blank if indeed there will be an STI-style turbocharged BRZ by the time this generation reaches the middle of its life in two-and-a-half or three years. A number came out of his mouth that raised my eyebrows. "In future, there is the thought to have as much as 280 horsepower." Well, uh, gosh, that's even a bit more than I was gambling for. "And we are," he went on, "thinking very much about the possibility of a turbocharger." So, could we be digging on somewhere around 250 pound-feet of torque? The master would not confirm or deny, but he did say that such a model would probably not use the acronym STI.

👍

That engine will have a turbo, when they put it in the WRX.
STI BRZ= lower, 100lbs lighter, ~220hp. I've got $5 on it.

Giant hoodscoop for a tmic. Problem solved.

Subaru said a few times that there would be a turbo BRZ some time in the future but not right now.

And I thought the placement of the engine would not make it possible to have 4WD.

The engine is mounted too low for the dif to fit under there.
