They may share some colors, but also have a few non-shared colors.

For instance, Subaru uses Lightning Red on the WRX and STi now. I'll just use that as a "shared" color.

I know that they will both available in red, blue, white, black, dark gray, siliver and others.
Are the colors exactly all the same shade? Is the black from FR-S look the same as from the BRZ as car companies use differnt shades of colors.

Subaru & Scion dealerships in here are right across the service road from each other (and the same ownership). I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be able to compare if there are two 'in stock' at the same time.

Most blacks look the same. Even whites look similar unless they use an off-white that looks yellowish.

Here's a name comparison of all the Scion colors to the 2011 WRX colors. I'll make a side by side color comparison with photos if someone wants.

To see all the FR-S's colors go here http://www.scionfirst86.com/create/ and click the red upward arrow above SPECS. You can compare each by just using Google to get a pic of the Subaru colors on WRX's.

Scion - Subaru
Asphalt - Dark Gray Metallic
Raven - Obsidian Black Pearl
Ultramarine - Plasma Blue Pearl
Firestorm - Lightning Red
Hot Lava - Caramel Bronze Pearl (Legacy Color)
Argento - Ice Silver Metallic
Whiteout - Satin White Pearl

Caramel bronze pearl is gold/bronze, hot lava is orange.
Ultramarine is green/blue, plasma blue pearl is a purple/blue.

Caramel Bronze Pearl is the closest Subaru has to an orange. Ultramarine looks looks like a really glossy dark blue, but that's a rendering and not an actual painted car, so Plasma Blue Pearl was the closest to it on the WRX line. I do have to say, Ultramarine looks gorgeous. I feel like the colors may end up being a big factor in people getting the Scion or the Subaru, and Scion's colors look great.

Orange being closest to bronze means what, exactly? Who shopping for a bronze would jump to a loud orange.?
Colors will be one of a few factors but they are down the list. Price, brand, equipment, availability then you get to the color. If people want a scion purple but there isn't one, they'll likely settle for a different colored scion. Same goes for subaru and their loyal, "special", customers.

Special?
And about scion... One of the great parts of their pure pricing is how it basically forces dealers to order cars for people... Think about it, why buy a color you dont like if it costs the same as one you order custom?

Yes, they are a special bunch. Once you own a subaru, the loyalty seems to be much stronger than other brands. They also wave a lot and do the whole peace sign thing way too much. Bunch of weirdos.

Yes. My mom went for a Legacy when she could have had an MKZ AWD one year newer for the same price. And I love my car, even though it's slow, gets horrible MPG, boring, and the usual early 2000's rust.

yeah im still subaru loyal but I just like other cars ( especially newer fords and mazdas as well as the chevy corvette) THere will at least be one subaru always in my family

I tried to get my mom to buy a forester/outback some 4 years ago. But the 4spd forester and cvt outback revved a bit high on the highway. She's in love with the bright orange XV but with the CX-5 coming out months before, it sure isn't looking too good.
I like my girlfriend's WRX, even though the interior is appalling, the stock tune is atrocious, the fuel economy sux, and the stock axle back already looks rusted after just 2 snowfalls.

I can't say I wasn't expecting to get a bit of hate for that... in defense, I have plenty of asian friends and have no racist hatred towards them whatsoever. But seriously, this is the internet, not Disney channel. If you were offended by that, then I recommend you sell all technology in your home, lock yourself in your room, and use a small flap for people to give you food through.

Squinting makes you look "asiany". How does something look "asiany" just cause you squint at it?

Use you're imagination, it's pretty easy to see the sarcasm.

The one in New York and Frankfurt looks awesome the 2013 model WTF looks terrible and and the brz/frs look exactly the same. What is wrong with toyota? They take something that looks amazing and make it worse. Rather buy an 87 MR-2

Sarcasm doesn't usually transmit very well on the internet.

Well, I took sarcasm out of the sarcastic part of my forum use. I'm unfortunately BOS from PBnation due to my friend porn spamming it while I was asleep.

Here are some pictures I took if the BRZ at the Philadelphia auto show today ( you can see more pictures here)

Also, on the back of the brochure for the BRZ, there was some info about trim levels.
