Subaru said a few times that there would be a turbo BRZ some time in the future but not right now.
They said turbo BRZ(F20) engine.
Anything about TC'ed BRZ was rumors, wasn't it?

The engine is mounted too low for the dif to fit under there.
Simply bolting on extended lower ball joints and extended tie rod ends takes care of most of it. The coilovers take care of the camber adjustment. On 240s you can replace every suspension arm with an adjustable aftermarket piece so you have almost full alignment adjustability. You probably mean smth like lowering spindles...
I'm unaware of any other fix of significant lowering, short of redoing the whole subframe and arm/tierod mounting/rotation points.
I'm unaware of decent extended ball joints/tie-rod end joints for a Subaru that don't cost arm and leg. There's whiteline kit, but it's only good for like .5" correction.Simply bolting on extended lower ball joints and extended tie rod ends takes care of most of it. Robin.Couldn't they go with a Ferrari FF style system? or would it be too expensive?
As for the turbo there is always room, just add a bonnet bulge and scoop.
The car won't be making significantly more power without boost. And I don't know why anyone wants this to be AWD.
R1600TurboHaving personally looked under the hood of a BRZ, I can say there is plenty of room for a turbo, and the car doesn't need a top mount intercooler. Just put it in the front bumper like everyone else.
Turboing this car is definitely doable. However, I would never chance it on the stock motor.
The Vanishing BoyNEWS -> Auto Express reports that Subaru are seriously planning for an STI-spec'd BRZ, but heres the catch:
- No Turbo, no space for the I/C on the top or in front.
- No AWD, that would only for the WRX STI (conflict of interest).

Vid #4 talks about the fender grill thingy being removable and a big hole being there for air extraction if you wanna add a turbo or such.
.
Didn't someone post a page or two back that a tmic, nor a fmic could fit for some reason?
Edit:
Here it is
But you replied to the post so it's safe to say you saw it.
That one has an EJ-series swap. The Greddy drift car maybe?
If you can't put a turbo on it then why this.....

You get what you pay for. I'm sure the Japanese companies will begin rolling out the necessary products in due time.I'm unaware of decent extended ball joints/tie-rod end joints for a Subaru that don't cost arm and leg. There's whiteline kit, but it's only good for like .5" correction.
