Quick note about one of the Cusco parts above. The rear lateral links are the same as an 08+ STi. Part numbers match.

STI calipers/brembos from the STI also fit on the BRZ. The mounting holes line up and all that. Few other parts should also be interchangeable, which is no surprise.

Do the wheels clear?

Also, not sure if this was posted but the Scion starts at $25k. Is that more than the Suby? Also, they have that Pure Price thing. They say there's no haggling. Is this really the case? This is South Florida and you're telling me I can't get my keemutz on?

No, scion is cheaper by about $1300 or so. The wheels will not clear the brembos.
Yes, pure pricing means you pay msrp. Not sure why scion makes such a huge deal out it and makes it sound like it's good for the consumer. Well, with the FRS it might be since they're fearing markups.

The 86 looked more of a handful though in the corners.

Which has been noted before that the FR-S comes on softer springs with more aggressive shocks, and vice-versa for the BRZ. I think every review has said the FR-S is tends to oversteer more than the Subie.

I would not equate oversteer with "loosing grip too abruptly". The video seems to be an example of the latter.

FRS looked funner and even seemed like it a faster lap. Hmm, would love to know what the actual lap time differences are between these cars!

Pretty sure that's not a statistically significant difference.
Pretty sure that's another example showing that the right amount of oversteer is faster. He got a bit sideways a time or two, but besides that the 86's four tires work better as a team than the BRZ's. This is what we all expected to see based on official statements about the cars' suspension tuning and handling balance differences.

Looked more fun to me!

I'm disappointed to see that strut braces are hinged. Eww. That'd take me some modifcation or a wait for Carbing's parts.

I'd get the Scion just because it looks better. No cheesy Toyota LED headlights. :)
