You guys ready to bemadbro?

Mmm, dat new underwear.

Also, they have that Pure Price thing. They say there's no haggling. Is this really the case? This is South Florida and you're telling me I can't get my keemutz on?

I haggled, so it was My Price. Then again, an xD wasn't in tremendous demand, especially for a manual one that had sat on the lot for five months.

Depending on demand, I wouldn't put it past Southeast Toyota to add a "market adjusted value" to the pricing structure, which is kind of against the idea of the Pure Price. (Dealer Fees and exorbitant tag/title fees may vary.)

It's my opinion that if you give them the option of Your Price or No Price, they'll haggle. Missing out on a grand or two is a lot better than missing out on 25.

Again, depends on demand. If they have only one or two on the lot, you can bet they won't haggle at first (like nearly every newly-released car), although maybe on the incidentals I mentioned. To further their profit agenda, the first couple hundred will probably have lots of dealer-installed extras to justify a little more off your top.

Honestly, if I could get the stripper car with a dash I would.

Plain brown wrapper and manual would be fine by me.

Stance is just an answer to a question nobody asked.

Stance is the answer to awesome. When your car looks just like everybody else's, you do stuff to it to make it different. Even if you and your bro have the same stance and wheels on your cars, that makes you just two out of how many that were sold? Switch up the wheels, the colors, maybe some custom fender flares for an even gnarlier stance, little bits and details here and there. It's an expression of your personality and your desire to push limits and troll society because society is lame. The moment somebody says "that car is so stupid, how can he drive that low" is the moment they lose the game.

Funny, stance is so much the "in" thing now that not doing it is becoming the "different" way.

I sure would love seeing this car out on the road. I saw the Scion FR-S concept car at the 2012 Houston Auto Show, and I can already imagine this car going around on I-45 or Beltway 8 here in Houston. Maybe somebody will try and trick one out or cover it in a unique color style or maybe slap on a GT wing. I really like this car.

Same here. Don't need a thing on it. And now that you mention "brown," God that'd be great if they sold one in brown.

YES. I LIKE BROWN CARS. DEAL WITH IT.

I'm anxiously waiting for this car to hit the showrooms in the near future. I can't wait to take a test drive. I might even put the Sky up for sale. I'm tired of it always breaking down and I'm in the mood for some Toyota quality.

That doesn't look half bad actually. It's not overdone.

On another note, I've seen about 4 BRZ's / GT86's now here in Japan. One looked tuned up and had a bunch of Blitz decals on it. Did they make a lot of parts for the car?

-> I just stumbled these two 86's:

^ Hmm, a BRZ rival, juicy!

^ A more affordable version of the GT3 RS Cup!

;)

Now THAT is how you do a proper strut tower bar.

Edit: Oh, and the car =

Except I would pass on the quad exhaust. Can't wait to see what tuners come up with for a single exit.

Single exit with dual bumper cut outs?

Well obviously you would need a new rear bumper. Think man. ;)

Edit: I was just told that the manager over at Agency Power (owned by Vivid Racing - my employer) was one of the first 86 purchasers of a Scion FR-S. The car will become a project car for Agency Power obviously, and one of the company owners was just in here talking with us about it. By my surprise, he said that I can choose the wheel/tire combo for the car. :dopey:

Edit 2: Thinking about these:

I say CR Kai or some deep TE37's. Remember that photoshopped brz that was stanced on black te37's? I actually have the pic of my phone still but this app always gives me an error when I try to attach any pictures.

Well we are going to try and stay with Rays wheels because of our relationship with Mackin (Rays USA supplier) so it comes down to Volks, Gram Lights, or 57 Motorsport wheels. The boss wants to go Gram Lights if we can, so going through their catalog right now, they have a limited selection of 5x100 wheels, so I have narrowed it down to:

- Gram Lights 57Xtreme (Pictured above, 18x8.5 +45)
- Gram Lights 57G (18x7.5 +48)
- Gram Lights 57XV (18x7.5 +50)

And still looking at other options...

Is it gonna be a show car or do you want it to be reasonable? I mean, if it's strictly a show car go all out on it to so the young crowd gawks over it. Get wheels as wide and deep as possible, put it on air, stretch the tires, and roll the fenders to sit right on the tires when it's slammed. Everyone on here will hate it because it wont it go a bazillion miles an hour around a corner after but simple business methods dictate that you should cater to what's popular and if you go to the tastefully extreme, it will quickly become a widely recognized car. Plus I'll spam it all over my tumblr to get the word out on it. Havng a few thousand followers should make it easy to spread.

Depends on what you are doing as a company. If the company is more about performance cars, a slammed car isn't going to be advertise anything you are offering very well.

On the rims, personally, out of those three, I'd take the 57Gs.

Car will be a daily driver, so it won't be slammed. Definitely not a show car.

Remember, I'm picking the wheels/tires and don't like cars that are stanced, so you can see where it'll go. ;)
