PoochiI herd if your at 780dpi or 1080dpi it doesnt happen is that ture?
Also the screen jitter is normal and you get used to it. Lol I thought my game was defective..
SRV2LOW4MEI'm running 1080i on a 50" LCD projection Hitachi using monster component cables, and I don't get any screen shakes. Use to when I was running it on my old 32" Sony with the sony RCA's though. Not sure what model of PS2 i'm running, but its a newer version of the old model, if that helps.![]()

So, wait a minute, this is a screen related issue? I might not have a new Hi-DEF TV or anything but my TV has always been one of the best ones I've ever seen, when a DVD or game is playing, I think my TV looks crisper and sharper than even those plasma screens and everything I see at BestBuy. It's a SHARP, and hmm, I'm not sure about the dimensions of it but it's always been amazing.
By the way, what's DPI mean? 1080DPI?

So, you mean I buy new cables to replace the standard AVI cables I have right now and that's really all I need to do to solve this problem?
Also, what's DPI stand for? Seriously, you have me curious now.
PoochiFound it in the PS2 manual page 13 there a chart on the top right.
Here's the rankings from lowest to highest:
Right now you have AV cables(320p)
S video Cables (need to buy these 480p)
Componet AV cables (1080p) Note these have to be enabled in the system config before you play GT4 so you have to set it up also typed in the manual. So if you tv can support it go buy the cables and you should be set. Go for MONSTER componet cables for the PS2 cause their gold platted anbd their higher quality.
Hope that helps....![]()
puckermanS video cables do NOT support 480p...but component cables do.
