WEBSITE IS UPDATED

New bit in the news section too :) dont know if anyone reads it or just skip straight to championship table like i do :sly:

Now that the season is over anyway and season 2 will need sorting out ... could still use the integra on sundays for mess around races try new ideas etc or try new cars for season 2. Up to you lot anyway ... you were here this season so as a team we can choose the ideas for next season ... the newbies can just put up with it 👍

Thanks to everyone, been a really enjoyable series and a good sunday night drive, can't wait for a second season, and also a new series from sy. Despite being called "green hell", I really enjoyed it, and had some great racing with sy in race two.

And a completely different idea for season 2 is GT500 or GT300, I know there are others of them around, but they are really good cars to drive :)

Thanks again ;)

After my first series i held finished I had this one guy message me a few weeks later telling me to make a new one (this one) because it was so good last time. I said okay what type of series and he said with the Honda Integra RM and and 10 race series like before on a sunday night so i decided to ... spent hours on the layout, regulations, website etc - then we had the ps3 outage which didnt help as we had way more than enough to get started ... eventually we did get started and all of a sudden he says he doesnt like racing in a series :/

This was after all of this was setup and despite that MULE guy tormenting this series most of the time we stuck by it and to be honest Im glad we did :) It might not be as popular as his or as restricted but at least it was fun ... Im happy to put the hours in again to make a new one unless syjones wants to take my spot :) 👍

It's a lot of effort, I agree, took me hours when I did mine ( https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=184339 ) unfortunately never got round to a second series, the people involved didn't seem too interested, they were mostly mates, and not GTP users.

This season, even though I've only had a few races has been well worth it. I wish I was able to start earlier. Like this series though many people left mine after one race, which is really annoying, so well done to those who stuck around, even when it didn't go perfectly (Acedition) and great job with the photos too!!! and a solid fourth to go with it :)

Thanks iHealy for putting together a well organized series. Had a lot of fun battling everyone throughout the season. A shame we only had 6 or 7 regulars, but it was good times anyway.

As far as the next season I don't know if I'll be around much. Work is picking up and recently been on iRacing a lot more. If I were to suggest one thing to change it would probably be disabling SRF. Would be cool to use the Camaro or Challenger RM for the series. I have a weak spot for muscle cars, just love them. I know there's probably already series using them but who cares.

For the racing today, really didn't think I would get away in both races. I never had an off, but did have a few oh sh@t moments. Still can't believe I caught up in the points after missing the Monza race.

If you want to find me I'll be celebrating my championship. Champagne, confetti, interviews, but minus the trophy girls of course. iHealy are you sure I can't have the trophy girls?:p:drool:

@syjones I'll trade my championship for that trip to the Nordshleife:sly:

Hey thanks alot to everyone for putting the series together and everyone who drove in it. I had a great time even though I didnt make it to as many races as I wanted to, I also found out that I love Integras and that would not have happened without this series. Id totally be down for a muscle car series or anything else you guys have planned.

Sounds like i missed a good event last night, shame i couldn't have been there and raced. Didn't get in until the small hours of the morning but i wasn't surprised to see that Plate had took it.
Been an enjoyable series and as Torzilla has pointed out, without it i wouldn't care for the Integra R RM but it's turned out to be a great little car :)
One of the best things about this series was the freedom involved. So many times i have joined online races or race leagues only to be faced by massive restrictions; no SRF, no TC etc etc. A lot of cars i can drive perfectly fine without driver aids but some cars i can't quite get to grips with for one reason or another and having that freedom of choice to set up a car to your own liking is what cemented it for me to join this series.
Who ever hosts the next series, i hope to be a part of it and enjoy some good racing with you all again. In the meantime i hope to see some of you in online rooms. 👍

The reason I couldn't race in this series because because I needed to add IHealy as a friend in PSN. Which I now have done. Don't matter guys ill past this championship good luck with it.

I will be doing my own series when I get a chance and have organised it all but it won't be a replacement for this series. Ihealys done a great job with this one and I don't want to take it over. No coo's here!
It will be a bit stricter than this series. I won't be allowing skid recovery but I will go for the double race reverse grid format.
I'll put a link in this thread when its ready.

Sounds good :) have you picked a car for it yet? or is it going to be a choice and is it going to be on sundays like this one? Id be happy to join it 👍

As for next seasons cars the muscles do sound rather good :) I never really liked them until burnout and now theyre pretty much my favourite :)

Also last night race modified the golf and raced the seasonal event from last week and the race modified version is so nippy and quick I might do a series with that :sly:

Never know anyway im trying out new cars every day so dust of your plymouths and give them an oil change :dopey:

Mine will be with the RMed golf 4.

Thanks xUxiousx, Ihealy and everyone else. Had fun for the most part in the series. Once again iHealy, great setup with webpage. I tried to stay as close as I could but not as good as you guys. And yeah, I hate when people leave the race it really is annoying to me as well. I wouldn't of been last ALL the time if they all stood on track. (LOL) But it's all good! I enjoyed the process of the organized racing. Will love to race again with you guys if times are good! Hopefully more people will enter.

Honestly, I think mine has much better regulations, as well as unlimited sign-up spots to ensure we mave people interested in it. Also, no aids allowed means the better racers, like R1600Turbo, who made it to the GT Academy finals in Silverstone, as well as several other racers who made the top 128 are in it.

You should leave us alone 👍

Thanks in advance,

Mule :)

i dont like your hostile tone towards this post and i find that you have and will not have any authority over the series and it's a free country and the OP can post what he wants to about any racing series if it bothers you then do not enter the post and also we wonder why the americans get a bad image and its ignorant americans like you that cause this thanks now on your way 👍

I would love to join this championship. Just need to buy an Integra which I will do tomorrow. Where's the next track at and when will it be?

The number I will choose if I need to will be #64

Way to bring up an old issue that has been dropped for a long time. Also, I don't like your comment towards "us Americans". You're just as bad with that response.

Also, please don't double post and make sure you use proper capitalization and punctuation. You agreed to when you signed up here. Thanks.

Ideas for the new season ... what would be your choice of RM car to drive next season?

Im thinking of a RM Impreza vs RM Lancer Evo

Also liking the RM golf (but syjones might use that) and even the RM SILVIA SPEC 👍

but Ill go with the majority vote on here ... I will put a poll up 👍

I think I would prefer something less powerful, and preferably FF, as I think they're a lot more fun to drive.

I do like Evo and Impreza, but I think it will be harder to make performance even as they are a bit different.

I like the silvia, only really used it for drifiting, it's very controllable, so I guess it would be good to race, thus it takes my vote.

Silvia RM sounds good to me as well. Fun Car.👍

I'm cool with the silvia. Anything really. Bring it on!

I'm working on the RM golf at the moment. It hasnt got the best gearbox in the world and when I get that sorted and a sensible horsepower and, more importantly, it's fun to drive I'll let you know!

Is there a real need to make it an RM car, not, either well tuned road car or one of the tuned cars on the far right of the Dealership? Some of those cars are great to drive, as I found out today, especially the HKS Evo ;)

Hope the new season starts soon, I'm getting out of practice.

Could we do something like a constructors championship for the next season. To make sure we know which drivers are in which team they'll be known by a colour the team chooses before the season starts. The team-mates will be selected at random and then will decide on a team name & colour before the 1st round begins. Does that sound good to everyone?

Sounds good (was suggested a few pages ago) but definitely more fun, and adds a different side to competition. :)

Right i've sorted all the tables out, both drivers and constructors championship ... webpage is sorted out for a new season so all we need to do is settle the car, tracks and opening post for the new season 👍

Could we change the race distance, to a set mileage, rather than a number of laps? We have huge variations in race times and I would like to see uniform lengths. The length will of course will need to depend on what car we use. Some laps were well over 2 minutes, and Nurberg GP/D was around 1.30 if I remember correctly.

Can I put in a few track suggestions early. I would love to see a few more city tracks, especially Special Stage Route 5 and Madrid. It would be great if we could change Nurberg GP/D change to GP/F providing we have more powerful cars, as I feel its slightly more challenging to be at full speed round the extra section.

I hope most people stay for next series, and I would be interested to see who else signs up.
I was also wondering if we are racing at the same time and do we get to choose who our team mate will be?

Chris.
