Struggling to get a decent set up for this one. Too much weight means the tyres are wearing fast and the car is slow off the line. Too little BHP and the car just doesn't have the top end neccesary for this event. Too little downforce and the car is ice skating down the Mulsanne at 160mph+ which is not reccomended! I predict yet another mid-field finish for me at best 👎

Haha sy, we almost made it in race 2. If anybody wants to see the definition of "co-opetition" or bump drafting perfection watch sy and I in race 2. I'm pretty much up sy's arse from lap 3 on. Only way we were ever going to catch up.

About the cutting corners, penalties were on so if the game allows it then I believe its ok. Especially at Le Sarthe running wide is just as bad as cutting a corner. It is what it is. Think we should just leave it at that.👍

I just don't want a bunch of accusations spamming up ihealy's thread.

It was a great race, I really enjoyed it, especially race 1. Race 2 got a bit dull, back to my usual tire management, but trying to stay fast.

I am however happy with a win, and not too upset with a 2nd place, thanks guys, and amazing speed from Plate and Sy at the end of race 2.

Thanks, Plate! Was nice to finaly take a win, i feel like i've been quite close sometimes but never been able to take it all the way. Looking forward to next weeks final, hope i'll be able to keep up with you and Sy !

I agree its not right, but that's GT5's good ol' penalty system. Along with that ridiculous draft. Although sy and I took full advantage of it.

For most of both races i couldn't get near a draft but i was aware that i had a compromised set up - which showed twice in the Michellin chicane. I had chosen near minimal downforce, a 110 kg weight increase and maximum bhp. With that set up i was cracking 180+ at peak without drafting. I had set my top speed to 196 and at one point when i finaly did catch a draft i maxed out! That set up just about saw me through race 1 but unfortunatly caught me out on lap 5 of race 2 going head to head with Plate and Sy. Was great racing today and although i only got 4th in race 2, i was very pleased with my overall performance. 👍

Le man le man le man. Funny old track. Would be really good if the straights weren't so long. Have never done much running here and because of the straights and drafting I think any race is a bit of a lottery. Overall an average race weekend for me gathering a handful of points and I think I've now definitely fallen in to 2nd place in the championship. I've not checked the table but isn't plate champion now? Saying all that the races were good fun with some excellent bump drafting from plate which helped us to catch up with Chris and xpower in race 2. Dissapointed he got the jump on me going into the Porsche curves but poop happens! Congrats to Chris and xpower on their first wins. Well done guys. No arguing next time though, eh!

Thanks to stupid Ryanair .... my plane back only got back at 2 in the morning after delays and air traffic control

Got a few YouTube videos from when psn was down. The challenge was to put any car and any tune in the 6 min bracket on sports hard. Talk about some hairy laps.

The Integras should eat this track alive. While also eating our front tires alive.
