Deep forest raceway - Mitsubishi i-MiEV Cr.300,000 exp 30000 - 5 laps

Please discuss anything about this race here.

This newest batch of bonus races seems to be easy to do with some stock/lightly modded cars, but for those who want to make them competitive, here's the times the fastest car seems to put down for each race. I also included the tires that the computer uses.

For example, in the Volvo race; the Focus RS is the fastest car you face. He should do a total time of 11:52 give or take some milliseconds. If you take your C30 into practice and tune/de-tune it to achieve laps of 2:24, you should finish the race in about 11:52. This way those who want to make these as competitive as possible can use practice to figure out how to do so.

Car: Mitsubishi i-Miev
Track: Deep Forest Raceway
Total Time: 9:47
Number of Laps: 5
Average Lap: 1:57.4
Tires used: Comfort Medium

Did it stock on the 2nd try. My first run I had passed for the lead on the last lap, but got into a tank slapper coming out of the last turn and wound up 7th.

Excellent, loads more credits.

People who moan about this game will love this car like a brother, the noise of it whining is nearly unbearable.

Stock first time, new car no oil change. (Stating not bragging).

Steven, there's no oil change for an electric car!

Yeah, easily done on stock tyres and car, all assists off. The only braking is for the first corner, you can easily power through the rest of them or lift off. Drafting is a good idea too.

You really can't change much of anything on the car except maybe the tires. It was actually a fun little race for some odd reason. The track felt huge in my little i-MiEV. Of course, I have no idea if I'll ever use it for anything else.

Those doing it stock, HOW easy exactly?
- Using wheel or DS3?
- Winning margin?

It is pretty easy. I think I passed everyone on the third lap or so. All you can really do to mod it is weight reduction and tires. I just put some racing hards on the car and it was easy.

:dunce::ouch: Sorry about that, I was thinking of the Volvo event and just added for completeness. I do not change oil in new cars, because I always forget.

Just did this during my lunch hour brought the car from the main dealer and took it out for a test run on the first beginners track and was dismayed to see how slow it was from the line but then the way it caught up and passed the rest of the field was fantastic.

I did not realise it was an electric car until I watched the demo and for sure that whining noise was getting to be agravating real quick. But still tried to do an oil change and fit tubos etc:dunce:

Any way like a typical scaredy cat fitted all the possible upgrades and with trepidation entered the seasonal race only to find it was one the most enjoyable and easyiest races so far:tup: Looking forward to more like this.

This was a fun race, got 1rst on my 2nd try. Stock

I like how PD are using some of the cars I would never have probably driven if it were not for these races 👍

diversification, who knew................

I used it stock as well. It's a easy win even with DS3. You can drive almost any corner at full throttle.

Very true, they've given me reason to try some new cars, and buy some I've been holding off on.

For this race I tricked out the car just for kicks: full weight reduction, adjustable suspension and soft sports, the shiny pink paint and the time attack style wheels. Terrible looking, terrible sounding, but corners like crazy and obviously won easily.

I was worried that nothing could be tuned in it, and so lowered the weight 1 stage, and added some sports soft tires, and won easily. Had I known, I probably would've done it stock and saved the cash.

Definitely had to mute the sound though, for fear of a migrane from the engine noise.

Just be more confident with what the car can do, every corner can be taken either full throttle or by lifting slightly with the exception of turn 1.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this challenge fun , i done the Window weight reduction and added fully cusomisable suspension , dropped the ride height and stiffened up the rear springs , even managed to get the thing sideways a couple of times , passed the leader on the line at the beginning of lap 4 , any more than 5 laps of the "Kettle" noise and i might have muted it. 👍

My total time was 8:59.544, with a best lap of 1.46.034, a breeze.

Best part of this race was watching the iMiev lift it's back tire on sharp corners. I actually almost rolled it around one corner.

iMiev must be stupidest name for a car ever!!! but was fun

and for one good reason, there are some really exclusive and unique rims for the iMiev! no kidding. Wonder what guy had to design theese things. maybe an intern knowing that noone will ever see them (cause noone would obviously buy and drive an iMiev just for entertainment)

I actually bought the i-MiEV to send a pink LF-A to someone 2 days before this challenge came out. So I now have a pink i-MiEV that I can't listen to but I love driving it. The car sounds like a dentist drill.

well you have to do it basically stock because there are no upgrade besides tires and weight deduction! but yeah won first try stock on the last corner of the last lap. it was a nail biter! i had to race on mute because of the stupid noise this car makes hahahhaa

Ah the race was great fun and the car would be perfect for running around town.
Easy win, good cash and xp. I just love these seasonal events.

Stock car, stock tires, first attempt, easy win, + at least 10 seconds lead, easy money, easy exp, boring car.
No challenge whatsoever.:indiff:

Race was way better than the Prius one (horrible IMHO), really the i-MiEV surprised me, it is enjoyable to drive an that raspberry color is weird but awesome at the same time 👍

You should be able to do this race without even touching the brake button. You'll just have to ease off the throttle a good while before the sweeping left hand turn that comes after the starting grid. See if you can do it fully stock without hitting the brakes more than once.

had to mute the TV as the sound was to painfull...

That car was surprising decent to drive, but horrible to listen to. I quite enjoy these seasonal events.
