This newest batch of bonus races seems to be easy to do with some stock/lightly modded cars, but for those who want to make them competitive, here's the times the fastest car seems to put down for each race. I also included the tires that the computer uses.

For example, in the Volvo race; the Focus RS is the fastest car you face. He should do a total time of 11:52 give or take some milliseconds. If you take your C30 into practice and tune/de-tune it to achieve laps of 2:24, you should finish the race in about 11:52. This way those who want to make these as competitive as possible can use practice to figure out how to do so.

Won it stock, but bumped the top speed to 205mph. I used the Toyota.
 
You'll need to speculate to accumalate to win this race unless you've got up to Super-GT in B-Spec or the B-Spec Endurance race which gives you the Supra or got an acceptable car via a gift ticket. The Skyline you win in the A-Spec Super-GT series can't enter nor any other gift car I'm aware of.

I bought the Nomad Diablo for 750,000cr and won it by about 10 seconds, didn't even bother win an oil change.

I used the Toyota Castrol TOM's Supra '97 that you win in the B-spec Super GT, just adjust the transmission to a little over 200 mph.

Same here. I already had a used Nomad so I just used that and won quite easily. Quite a bit of room to try other cars and settings though.

Yeah like I say that is the only gift car valid for entry that I can see, so if you're not up to that level at B-Spec (I'm not) you're going to have to buy a car.
 
Did anyone try with the Stealth NSX?
 
I used the Nomad Lambo. I had bought the car a while back so I was thrilled to see that I could use it to win so much. I've also got the Castrol Supra, but the Lambo just looks better IMHO.

Anyway, I dominated the event but still had a ton of fun. I have a real soft spot for the High Speed Ring, so anything on that track will always be a blast for me.
 
I'll give it a try later with my Raybrig NSX '06. I think there should be no problem since completely stock I won the Super GT races very easily.
Anyone know how much time you have to make up?
 
I tried it with the Raybrig NSX '06. Won by 18 seconds. You have to make up 25 seconds by my guess, I was in first by lap 6.
 
I had actually been given the Honda Loctite Mugen NSX '01 as a gift car ticket. I had been eyeing the Nissan line in the new car dealership so i could enter the JGTC races, but had never bought one yet (still hanging on to that 950k). I was pleased to get to use a free car, with only a tire upgrade, to win 1.5 mil in such a short amount of time. i did not expect to win on my first run, but was actually in the lead by the beginning of the last lap.
not a bad return on investment (free + 1.5 million - 25k for tires).
 
I used the Mobil NSX. Had not used the track in a long while, and had never driven this car, won on second try after missing first time by .388.

are you sure you got 10 laps? Oh, crap, they only give me 8 laps to overtake
 
I used the Nomad Diablo I had sitting around. Had never used it and never even touched the oil. It was a pretty easy win, but I think the rest of the drivers were using racing medium or soft tires, as I was sliding a bit on my racing hards, and they were catching me in the corners.
 
Nope they're on hards, it's just most of them are using more modern Super GT cars with more lateral grip than the old Diablo.

I too used the Nomad Diablo and had the same issue. I had nowhere near as much grip in the corners. Still won though, it was a fun race. Really enjoyed this one.
 
I was lucky and had the Denso Dunlop Sard SC430 that I guess I must have won for some race or maybe a 1000 card can't remember where it came from but it won pretty easily but did save me having to buy a car to win. I think I took the lead somewhere on lap 7 and I'm not a very good driver at all but that car was really nice to drive.
 
I really wanted to buy a yellow hat so I thought what the hell, I win the car is paid for. I bought a stage 2 turbo and easily won.....time for some photo travel!
 
Count me in with the Nomad Diablo GT-1 '00. Walk in the park. Easy money but a little short on the fun.
 
This was too easy in the TAKATA DOME NSX (JGTC) '03.

The car has green wheels, which help a lot.
 
Won in the Tom's Supra with Racing Hards.

Won by .08 with an epic slingshot after the last turn. It's the only replay I've ever saved :-)
 
Tried it once in the Epson NSX - came forth :( 13 seconds after 1 place

Sadly my epic slingshot of round 4 came in the iMiEV race after I spun on the last lap and had only 3 corners to chase down the leader. I passed him at the line but couldn't bring myself to save the replay just too painful to listen to.
 
Nissan GTR GT500

Tried and tried stock, lapping at 105
Did Soft tires and stage 3 engine, lapping at 101 ish and passed everyone by the 4th lap.

I was hoping for less HP doing the upgrades, but I did what I could.
 
Won first time with the Diablo - sorry to those people who wanted it - I was the last one to buy it online before it sold out LOL.
 
With the Loctite Mugen NSX '01, stock, I got an 2nd place.... 5.xx sec after :( Difficult to find more time without upgrade.... But it can be done!

1st try: 4th place with my Penzzoil Nismo GTR with racing medium tires...
2nd try: 1rst place with my Lambo Nomad Diablo & racing soft... Soo easy :)
 
Upgraded my Loctite Mugen NSX '01, with an stage 2 turbo (506bhp) and won by +01.993 👍 Good challenge there....
