Epic fail at you. It just says sold out on yours like it does in the normal car lot, you buying it doesn't affect anyone else's..... true facepalm right there.
 
I also used the Nomad, just an oil change and changed my aero & tranny settings and won easily.

If you go stock, I'd say there's an challenge to be given.... The volvo, dodge and the JGTC were up for it, pure stock imo. But then again, I'm just an average driver.

Won with stock ARTA NSX, best lap 1:02:309. Usual top speed 28X km/hr, if you slip, then 30X km/hr that's how i got my best lap.
 
Easy win with the Raybrig NSX and I am not a great driver. Oil change and racing soft tires was all it took.

I used the Toyota Castrol TOM's Supra '97 that you win in the B-spec Super GT, just adjust the transmission to a little over 200 mph.

Seems to be a good choice Toyota Castrol TOM's Supra '97.

Might need a little tweek like the transmission or a bit more if you are less talented like me, but was fun.

With the Nomad Diablo GT-1 '00, just a bit too easy, turn you back tires down for some control fun.
 
Spent an hour trying to beat this with the '97 Tom's Supra, as it came (so racing hard tyres). Finally beat it by about 0.3s. Quit out, got my 1000 mile ticket. Was awarded an Arta NSX that would have destroyed this...
 
i've won the event with an takata dome NSX.
with a gear ratio change for more top speed:)
 
Tried the stock Xanavi nismo 06, came 3rd. Pulled my Raybrig NSX out with it's stg 3 engine, and won by 7 sec

I won the the Woodone Tom's Supra stock whis just increase top speed :)
 
Castrol Tom`s Supra is a easy win just stuck on med race tyres and credit goes to Mr Grado for the set up.

I used the Tom's supra as well for this event

All i tweaked was the tranny to 210 mph and had a 4 sec. gap to second place.

Even though this was close, for some reason it was the least favourite event for me in this series.
 
Seems I wasn't the only one who bought a Nomad Diablo for no reason and lucked into being able to use it in this race.
 
I got the "Human Stopwatch" trophy in this race last night 👍
 
Will give it a go tonight...Only eligible cars I have are the WedSport Celica and Mobil 1 NSX
 
Oil change and racing softs in the Raybrig NSX. I spun on the second lap and still was able to take the lead on the final lap.
 
I used the Takata Dome NSX, no mods (well, racing meds), no oil change, and was in the lead at the end of the 7th lap on my first try - but I've probably run more laps on HSR than any other track since GT1 :P I was running consistent 1:03s FTW
 
Just won with the Diablo by .041 seconds
 
Bought the Raybrig NSX. I believe it was $750,000 cr. Love the car! Put racing softs on and had a blast doing it. 1.5 mil minus 786k [car w/tires] = 714k for doing 10 laps. Can't beat that!
 
takata dome NSX absolutely killed it. Was 1st by the 6th lap.

Changed the gear ratio to max speed 205, and it worked brill!

Make sure people tune it up. Max turbo, engine stage 3.
 
Not sure what car I should buy for this event. The Nomad Diablo's 723k in my Online Dealer, but I'd love to buy the newer premium Super GT (not sure which one) cars just for phototravel X_X Any suggestions?

I had a fully tuned Diablo sitting around, did a couple tuning modifications and set off. I was in first by lap 3 and lapped the last six cars by the time I was done.

Also the op says it is a 10 lap race...but it is 8 just a note.
 
I won with a Xanavi Nismo GT-R '08 by a couple seconds. This is the setup I used:

LSD: 10/15/15
Trans top speed: 186
Camber: 2.0/1.5
Toe: -0.10/0.10
Rear wing set to minimum, Front wing was at medium downforce I think.
Everything else set to default, no aids or add ons needed. :)
 
Used the Toms supra you win from some event. I clicked the transmission up 4 notches or so and took the lead on the last lap. Fun race.

On topic: funny thatsome people turn the transmision down (to 200 kph) and other turn it up.
I'll give it a go today with TOM's Supra (if Tom lets me)


That the OP says 10 laps only gives to show that even the supermoderators are only human 👍

Tried it twice with a stock Raybrig NSX '06 (no oil change, racing hards, no setup changes) and came second twice within a second. Should be possible to win it.

Edit: won it by 2 seconds now, laptimes of 1:04 and 1:03 (slipstreaming).
