I did it with the NOMAD Lambo stock.. That car sadly just has too much power to make this challenge an actual challenge//

Untuned Nomad Diablo= easy win.

I used the Rayb. NSX. Was 1st on the 6th lap and took a 10 sec lead. I used taht car also on the a-spec SuperGT racing softs/ oil change. Nice fast way to make money and XP

Now over to the others.

Ran this last night slightly buzzed after some Go Karting and beer(in that order...lol). Used a bone stock 06 Z GT500 car. Had to tune the setup a bit to get more top speed out of it. Won it after maybe 4 tries. Was able to do consistent low 1:03s. Had to be careful not bump into the AI and killing your speed....

The stock Toyota Tom GT your bob can win for you. Placed 2nd maybe 7 times, finally won.

Sorry, I can't figure it out. Can I use the Gillet Vertigo Race Car ‘04 for this event?

Thanks

EDIT Answered my own question - thanks

Used the 2000 skyline, if you want a challenge I suggest using that car stock, I had racing softs and managed to pass through the first turn on the 8th lap.

I used the only JGTC car I had, which was the NOMAD Diablo. Ran the event with the car completely stock (hard race tires) and the only driver aid was traction control set to 1. Passed the leader on the 7th lap and won by 5 seconds.

Best I have managed with the stock Diablo is 4th. Only place I make serious mistakes is in the S before the tunnel. I might try one of the other cars to see how they differ from the Diablo.

Edit: After a little suspension tuning I was able to win without too much trouble.

Used the oil changed PITWORK Z , 20/30 Downforce and Racing Hards.
Topspeed was set to 211 mph.

raVer

Taka Dome NSX 511bhp hard racing tires .
Ozi

I won it with a GT-R GT500(fully modified) but my stealth car wasn't able to enter so I bought another GT-R
It was a piece of cake with a modded car actually

Yep, I got the Calsonic skyline from the online dealer, racing medium tyres, increase top speed by 10kmh, lower ride height, stiffer suspension.
Had a great time, took me about 6 or 7 attempts, finally got it by passing the leader approaching the last corner.
Was turning 1.03.9 - 1.05.5 laps, depending on how good a tow I got from the last corner to turn 2.

Did anyone try with the Stealth NSX?

Nope.
It can't be use.
Stealth GTR also can't.

I do it with the Raybrig NSX with turbo and soft tyre..lol.

I thought this was gonna be tough bearing in mind the other 1.5m credit reward races have been so far. How wrong I was:

Stock Nomad Diablo = Win

If I'd have known, I'd have bought something more challenging.

bought the gtr for this. tune suspension to lowest and downforce highest and transmission max 330.

won this easily, passed everyone by lap 4 and lapped 3 cars by lap 8

The Nomad Diablo works wonders in this race.. I dominated with that thing and picked up my cash.

Seems I wasn't the only one who bought a Nomad Diablo for no reason and lucked into being able to use it in this race.

I did the exact same thing :) . I found myself some cash, found a NOMAD and an XJ220 on the UCD and bought them both for no other reason than I like them a lot, and because of their rarity!

A couple of days later the NOMAD appeared on the online dealership.

I will most likely use the NOMAD for this event (Still trying to complete the C30 event with only an oil change. Best so far is second, 9sec behind). I bought it for no reason, but now I can justify the investment :sly:

I used a Nomad and got second on the first try.

I used the Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R '03 bought from the online dealer. It's an easy win even though it does have less HP then the NOMAD Diablo.

Used Stock as bought form dealer + oil change only

I used the Motul 08 tuned to the max. I even overtook them twice. :dopey: ...
...Well, guess it would have been embarrassing if I would have failed to overtake them twice.

I bought some old ugly JGTC NSX from the used car dealership. Changed the oil, bumped the downforce up all the way, messed with the suspension and transmission, and managed to pass the leader on the last lap. This race with an old NSX on racing hards with no power mods is pretty tough, I came in 2nd twice before turning the downforce up, after which I won pretty easily.

Same workaround, from dealer to a short test run, from test run to the seasonal... free money 👍 and the oil pressure light was warming my cockpit all the race

I used the Epson NSX, Stock settings except the downforce was increased up front for better grip. No driving aids except ABS1. Won it the first try, didn't have to upgrade anything. I think I might have used medium racing tires. It wouldn't matter if I used hards though. It was pretty straightforward. Draft when you can, overtake when you can, win easily.

Tom Supra with oil change first try 4th...

Changed transmission a bit and was 2nd about 0.8 second behind... best lap time 1.04.0xx average about 1.05.xxx
Was tired and turned on skid recovery force, wanted to know how much it changes my lap times and I made constant 1.04s and even got the human stopwatch trophy 👍 5 seconds ahead in the end...

castrol mugen nsx that I got for my lvl 17 ticket. Used racing softs and bumped up the transmission a bit. Very easy money!

Thought I was being clever by checking supergt.net and inding out that the 2008 series was won by the Tom's SC430 '08, so I bought that and found out the hard way that in GT5 it's not as quick as the Epson NSX '08. How does that work?

Has anyone else won with a '08 SC430? I can't seem to do it. Don't want to have to buy another one!
