HA! Dead on, that's what I'm primarily looking for too, just like the rest. I'd like to see some of the less used tracks in the game, such as Special Stage Route 5.

For sheer hilarity, I'd like to see a one-make X2010 race on the Top Gear test track - see how many 250+ mph collisions happen through the intersection.

I'm amazed that we haven't seen an event at Suzuka in the NSX Type R yet, or a Toyota/Lexus event at Fuji...

Some good ideas in here, stealing a few.

Race 1: down 1 lap and at the back of the pack race so you have to pass twice.

Race 2: standard with weather and starting on wrong tires, give you the option to pit or suck it up with the slicks.

Race 3: Holding of faster cars, would probably need hp/weight limits to make it work right.

Race 4: X1's on the top gear track! This will of course never happen due to the need to be level 30 to fairly have one.

Race 5: Standard race but with a really expensive car (5 million+). Make the payout 1/2 the value of the car. 50% off a nice car is a great deal and some nice credits back for those who already own it.

Hopes and expectations don't match in GT5, so even if we all hope for something new and different, we're most likely to see more or less the same as before.

At best we'll get some restrictions back.

New seasonal events tomorrow? I knew if I waited long enough I would get to level 30 a-spec without even trying/grinding.

I would love to see some proper races, don't care what cars or what track they take place at. Just start on the grid, and RACE.

It won't happen though, so I'll just accept my millions of C and buckets of XP and carry on Time Trialling.

Have you not played GT5 in the rain yet? Race Slicks have the most grip out of all tires in the game.

I like the idea of B Spec seasonal events.. Let's give bob a run. Though i can imagine myself screaming at him 99% of the time "Just ******* Overtake him already?!!"

But atleast it would be an oppertunity to get the B Spec level up.

I think the update containing GT Anywhere will eliminate the need for that.

I really want to see tuning restrictions in next seasonal events.
Also can be more interesting a "reverse chase" with you starting first with a car restricted and a respectable margin of time, against AI cars tuned...

What time (UTC) do the new events go live? I thought they would be here already with it being 1am on the 20th. The events are said to expire on the 19th at 21:00 and I can still compete in them.

So i am a casual racer. I like to just play the game for what it is and not what it could be or what everyone else seems to think it should be. I like the fact that i must earn experience to level up. I like that i get more experience by racing with similar horsepower and winning.

The Seasonal events do not do that, you get the same points and money no matter how many seconds you beat the other cars. So max out that car and give yourselves no challenge. This has killed the level up process for me.

What i would like to see is the events become more challenging by only allowing a car be upgraded to a certian level, allow more than one car but still keep the horse power in check. Maybe instead of points and dollars a dlc code for the top racers in an event, to recieve a limited car, perhaps one that has a limited paint scheme and/or design.

That sounds fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had the longest day at work, got little sleep last night, and could pass out if I even look at a pillow.

But, I'm going to stay up and do all the events before I melt into the bed, an hour and 45 minutes to go apparently!

I think the "catching up" aspect of the Seasonal Event is fun, but I think PD should put in an event where we are trying to "run away" or "fence off" chasing opponents.

I think you need some Need for Speed!

But going on your comment, I think you mean something lke Touge style racing? I would like that, but that also means they need to offer a new track in the mountains. I can only imagine Touge on the Nur. Ring but thats not very Japanese is it?
