You mean all the '...skills' at the top of the board? I thought that too.

Is it just me who finds the Cape Ring TT Extremely dull? The track feels like a toy to me compared to Rome and the Wasabi (whatever it's called) is no fun at all.

@ drumc0de: You'll need to use manual gears to get a decent time as you can get higher revs before changing up giving you a slight speed boost. I change up 1 tick into the red.

I'n now in 43 position of the cape ring time trial... 56.9.. Soooo hard to pull down times. THX to MCBocia, my personal track manager

I'll repost this, from the Tuning forums, about the Cape Ring timetrial so you guys can laugh a little.

Has something like this happened to any of you before? It's almost embarrasing, except now I'm much better than before thanks to those crappy tyres.

I'll try to improve my Cape Ring time tomorrow and I'll try to set a time on the Rome one, using your setups as a start, see what I can do. It's a shame I'm not gonna be able to run too much, as I'll be away from my PS3 from the 27th to January 7th :( I'm doing good on the Cape Ring one, and I was really frustrated back in January when the GT Academy came out and I had to play with Dual Shock, it was literally impossible to do a good enough time. Now with a wheel all that frustration is gone and I love time trials :)

Sorry for the long post.

I've done something similar but in B-spec. After yelling and swearing at my B-spec Bob for loosing, I realized it was my fault for giving him disadvantage with inferior tyres. lol

Still low 1:20's at best with the Dual Shock.
Time to break out the DFGT.

How many of you are driving manual?

I'm using Dual Shock controller manual and getting 1:19.6xx at the moment. I also have the GT force pro wheels but don't have a proper cockpit setup so I'll be stuck with the little controller for a while. I think 90% of the top 10 times are done with the steering wheel the last time I checked.

I'm 34th at Cape Ring right now, 0'56.8, don't know if I'll improve it or try the RX8 one first.

After 537km I'm 27th, gonna give Rome a try now.

What's the deal on the Cape Ring leaderboard?

Looks like someone created a load of spam accounts and have probably just done the seasonal races on most of new accounts.

@ Canary_Skills: Please accept my apologies also.
Seems you've got a team of very good drivers there. Thumbs up mate!

Merry Christmas to all !!!

Wow, I did a few laps on London with a setup similar to the one in this thread (Kusabi with 241bhp, just to give it a try) and I'm 60th. Looks like it works really well.

I'm sure when I'm back home on Jan 7th I'll be like 500th, though.

By the way, ever happened to you that you set a new best time, you get all pedal-happy and screw up the next lap, pause and HIT RETRY? Losing your new best time in the process? Well that just happened to me on Cape Ring, fortunately I could set a time even better than that, 0'56.703, thanks to the fact that I did almost 15 laps without going higher than 0'57.000, which feels really nice. I hope I can make it to the top 25, I'm 27th at the moment, but being in the top 100 is good enough anyway.

The Rome time trial is another story, guess I don't have enough time for it.

Moved on to the London TT and 7th at the moment with 56.519 in the Integra.

Kusabi seems pretty good round there.
