Seasonal SSR challenge payouts?

I am looking at the Cr figures below and they list money for places like 70,000 for 5th... I finished 5th and got 210,000.... what am I missing here?

You get the payment for every position you earn. Ex: You placed fifth so you got the payment for fifth and all below your position, all the way to tenth place, or whatever the payment stops at.

You also get the prize money of all the places below. EDIT: Merc beat me to it.

It's big money, but a one time deal. You only get more money/EXP if you place higher than your previous best. Once you win you don't get more for doing it again.
