fellas, fellas, fellas,
I'm only gonna talk GT2. Porsche has eight cars entering (or maybe it was eight teams... can't remember), the GT3 RSR is far to developed to be beaten by basically newcomers. Panoz will be the stiffest competition in my opinion because they have had that GTLM for a couple years now and it should be pretty well prepared. (Not to mention it was blisteringly fast in Winter Test Days.) I still can't see the Panoz winning though because of just how tankish those Porsche's are especially with teams like Alex Job and Petersen White Lightning out there. As for BMW, yeah they're back... so what? The BMW M3 GT has been away from the series for a while and PTG only started building their new cars recently, I see them being competitive but still sorting things out. As for Lexus, they didn't come here to embarrass themselves but I don't see them winning, I think the car still needs sorting out like it's GT2-S foe, the M3. When it comes to Ferrari, Risi Competizione are back in GT2 (after waisting time with the GORGEOUS MC12) and should be on pace as well. Ferrari wouldn't send a slug to Sebring but Porsche just seem to strong to be beaten. Spyker and the Spyker Squad bring two (I believe) C8 Spyder race cars, they won't be competitive again, the North American circuits eat up the Pirelli Tires (which I believe the Spyker was running, correct me if I'm wrong.)
To conclude, Porsche wins and gets at least 2/3rds share of the Podium. Panoz, BMW, and Ferrari (in that order) will battle it out for best of the rest.
see you guys at the track,

EDIT: Just so you don't jump on me I have a couple edits. 1. Panoz (Multimatic) are running the Pirelli, and I see that holding them back. How competitive are those tires? I recieved inside information from Risi Competizione last year (after chilling with them at a couple rounds) that the Pirelli compound THEY were running would get torn up real bad, real quick on the North American circuits (it was the same compound from FIA GT, does that make it different from the North American tire?). What does that entail for other Pirelli runners? Who knows... Panoz might have worked with Pirelli to find a competitive tire. All I know is I've watched all the action, Yesterday, I'm heading to the track now, and I'll be their tommorow and Saturday. P.S. I really like the IMSA GT3 Cup cars and well, everything on track at Sebring. This will be my 8th straight 12 hour and probably 10th in my short life.
