Well I've had my car for about a year and a half, and it's been nothing but fun, but priorities have changed, so I'm moving onto something else. ;) Tons of new parts, and as of tomorrow, the new black interior will be complete, and I'll be officially listing the car for sale. I've already got my next car lined up, and the seller is holding it until mine is sold. Though I love my car to death, I'm excited about what's next (dream car to DREAM car. :)), and I didn't think I'd be so rushed to get rid of my car.

Anyone wanna guess what I'm getting next? :) Hint: Similar price range (a tad higher), rarer (quite rare in the US, at least), a little slower, a little bit better handling and lighter...

Without further ado, here's some of the last pictures I took. Nevermind the old worn tan seat, the new ones are in tomorrow morning.

The seats that are going in (in another Soup):

He said slower. Evo will beat an MKIV to 150MPH. Assuming it's an MR that is, as a GSR will blow 5th way before that and an RS would be gear limited to 55MPH.

And besides, unless you're 14 and half-retarded, an Evo is not a DREAM car.

I say it's an NSX.

I was thinking that too, but it depends what he considers the price range for a Supra.

In my eyes, $50,000 is the range. But he claims to have bought his for what, $25,000? So slightly higher than mine would be 993 territory where he's stuck with a 1992 Viper RT/10 with a 30-35k range.

Oooh, nice Supra there, I'll give you my lunch money for it. :D

But seriously, whats next for you? A viper coupe?

higher price range slightly slower and better handling.... quite a riddle there Troux. is the replacement car modified? since the Supra is that sort of blurs the price and performance ranges.

Do people really spend $50K on a ten year old Japanese coupe?

It's not an NSX, because he said "a little better handling"

NSX kills the Supra in the handling department with such a degree saying "a little better" is like saying it's "a little more MR."

I'm thinking Esprit, but, like the NSX, they handle to such a greater degree than the Supra that it is silly. Then I thought 300ZX, but they aren't rare in the U.S. 3000GT's don't handle much better than the Supra, if at all better; nor are they particularly rare.
So, Mazda RX-7 FTW! It fits the criteria pretty well, I'd say. Maybe a little cheap, though.

As an aside, I must say that some Ferrari's on Autotrader (don't ask) are rather absurdly priced. More money for a 348 than a Testarosssa? More money for a 328 than a Testarossa?

But C5's handle much better than Supra's. And they sure as hell aren't rare in the U.S., as I'm pretty sure every dentist in the country is legally obligated to own one.

FD crossed my mind but that's not a dream, it's a nightmare.

Who in their right mind would dream about owning a gigantic timebomb.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to spend Supra money and end up with a car any slower than a Supra.

BMW E39 M5, it could be.

Hell it could be anything at this point.

It could be a Cobra R. It's not likely, but it could damn well be.

Or it could be a Ferrari Mondial! :dopey:

Really, maybe he'll get something so awesome we couldn't think of it...
