I am absolutely interested in this. I'll check for future events and join the next one. My psn is the same as my gtp tag

That was great sport yesterday 👍
I have only created the Scirocco R but I will set-up some more cars.

FWD had huge standig-start issues but the VW is very fast. The Height Adjustable Suspension limits the "Tune-some-Oversteer-into-a-FWD"-portion but you still can create at least a bit :D
Tire-life is limited but VW is looking good.

Rest of the Cars seem quite near too (Rome for example) but the Integra at TM was OMG (maybe perfect Car/Track combo or car too good).

Loved espacially the Autumn Ring Race. Man I saved the replay but can´t upload it to youtube.
Man that was superb sport *still-freaksout-when-he-thinks-of-the-race*

Sorry only managed 1 race before having to leave because daughter and bf came in. Saved me embarrassment as I was way off pace. Was 1.5 secs down in first sector alone at TM. Lots more practice required.

Just out of interest you are only allowed to put on the car whats on the list? My standard gearbox for the Clio is bad, in 6th Im losing speed rather than gaining.:scared: Gets eaten by the V8's

Fifth gear is godawefull in the mustang too. Each car will have it's issues with the stock gearbox. That's how it was from the factory though.

Well if all cars have the same issue with gears then thats fine, but the Jag and Nissan seemed miles faster on the straights.:scared:

Yes, stock gearboxes are a part of the formula. In testing, if a car was let down by its gearbox, I simply made up for it by either upping the power or shaving the weight.

None of the specs are as yet set in stone, a bit more testing is required, probably at a twistier track, such as Madrid.

But of course, remember, some people will 'click' with certain cars...

If gearboxes are a concern, we could equip all cars with the close ratio transmission. Non adjustable so tuning doesn't come into play, but also wakes the cars up. In an enduro league i was in, we allowed close ratio trans, fixed suspension, racing clutch and flywheel but no adjustable parts. Worked out pretty well. You will never completely balance such different cars though. Thought we had it in pre season testing, but in a live race with the draft and fast tire wear, the cars separated themselves.

If you are really fast, challenge yourself with a lesser car. If you are not fast, pick one of the top cars. It is up to the racers to be honest and fair to complete the balancing process.

I had considered close ratios, but they are still too close for many of the tracks I have in mind. In GTI cup class, the Suzuki Swift already has it pretty close - topping out at about 125-130mph or so. Generally, I want to keep all tuning to little more than minimum.

OP updated. This Tuesday is a trial of GTI Cup. These have been tested to within one second at Grand Valley Speedway.

Hi all.

Not sure if I can join the upcoming due to having another online event already signed up but as soon as the other ends I'll see if you guys are still online.

I really like your GTI class line up as I really like racing in light small cars.

Guess I'll have to prepare a few to see which I find myself more confortable in.

This is shaping up really nice!! 👍

Good driving the other night, too bad there weren't more drivers...

What is the next class you'll be testing?

The GTI class seemed very close in all the cars we tested.

Looking forward for the next test day.

GTS and Supercar won't be for a while yet. I'm going to launch GTI first. :)

Multi-race series. Details will follow as soon as everything's finalised.

When do you plan to launch Coupes? That's the one I'm looking forward to.

Good question, if people are happy with a different day to Tuesday, then perhaps before GTI is concluded. I'm thinking Saturday or Sunday...?

I hadn't planned any, but I'll be on tonight. We could do either GTI or Coupe, whichever you like.
