seriously all this talk about sound of the car I could give a hoot about the sound as long as it has some kind of sound that is louder then the stupid unnecessary tire squeeling and hopefully the car is fun to drive like the Ferrari Formulas are and can be adjusted to fit the driving styles of each racer.

its not meant to race against other cars people the great thing about the Ferrari F1's were you din't have to deal with idiots trying to jump in X1's and those sorry excuse for formula cars better known as Formula GT's. (oops just bad mouthed two of PD's pride and joys hopefully I don't get my account blocked from GT6) :nervous::scared:

May I ask why? Apart from the X1s (which were also in their own section), what can keep up with an F1 car? Honestly the cars had nothing else to race against and it looks to be the same with the Lotus 97T.
It'd be nice to be able to go online and drive whatever I liked without forcing everyone else to...

The car sound has been leaked!

OMFG baby, Lotus 97T!!! Woah, stand back, John! I mean, we have no other 80's F1 cars so why in the world would they give us Senna's car? To race against 16 iterations of the same car? I'm getting less and less excited for this update. I'd much rather see some of the latest road cars.
Words cannot express how much fail is to be found in this post...

You know, in the essence of his post, he's partially, kind of, sort of right.

Ayrton Senna content is the best thing to happen to GT since GT4.

Unless PD messes up.

PD WILL mess this up. When have they ever tried to bring something awesome to the game and pull it off?

I remember hearing about the Top Gear track for the first time on GT5. I thought 'Hells yeah!, my own power lap board!'. Then we all found out that you could not do a standing start on the track! And dont get me started on the ridiculous events that were made for the track.

PD = Pretty Dissapointing

Technically, you could!

In time trial on the course. Since you rolled before Gambon. You simply stop before the start/finish... as you cross the line it starts the lap. Then do your power lap. As you complete the lap, it will log your time on the board in the "pre-race" menu. There's no other way to handle the power laps. You can't repeat laps unless the following lap was DQ'd for lining up to the line again.

Just gotta use your "imagination", and if you don't want the game to log your times. Use a board, and write them down. It's not difficult.

So true. And I did just that. I just wanted to emphasize yet another of PD idiotic decisions.

And how many PD bash posts are we going to have before we get back on-topic?

I suspect they'll keep going until PD announce what's actually going to be in the DLC, at which point an actual conversation can start taking place. Historically, they've had some howlers, and until they prove otherwise it's not unreasonable for people to assume that this is going to be another example, given the lack of any solid information less than two weeks before the release of major DLC that has been advertised for months and months.

I find it funny that people are bashing PD for something they haven't seen (or heard) yet.
The main issue is that GT6 was released without so many of the things we wanted, the Senna content being just one category the game lacked on release day. I understand DLC takes time, but PD need to focus on one game or the other, GT5 or GT6 or GT7, they cant just go for working on all 3 at the same time.

I'm not talking the people assuming who it'll turn out, I'm talking about the snarks that outright insult PD and add nothing to the discussion (nor make them communicate or bring things out any faster).
