Sorry for further off topic, but nope. It seems they followed the same line as the MR car engines, only if they absolutely must.

So, only the KTM X-Bow has them modeled because you can see them through the minimal body. Otherwise, firm nope.

Like I said, I needed to check to be sure. Ironically enough, the X-bow was one of the cars I saw with fully modeled wheels inside.

On-topic: One thing I'm already interested in is the placement of the replay cameras. They weren't all that interesting on the Ferrari F1 cars despite being premium so I wonder they'll do on this lotus.

The point is they've publicly commited to a 14 day period, in less than 28 days. if they can announce that publicly I would certainly hope that internally they know the exact date by now. If not, and they're still scrabbling round like headless chickens with no actual idea when they'll be done then there are serious problems in the company.

Obviously the thread isn't dead since there are people in here that are actually discussing about Senna content, and not just the one's are going off topic are keeping this thread active. If you want to discuss about the quality of the car models in GT6, and speculate on how they will be in GT7, then you can create your own thread for that discussion.
Yeah no thanks, because one, GT6's models are fine (to me), and two, there's no GT7 subfourm. There's nothing exciting to talk about the Senna content without going into all these speculations about this and that...

I doubt it. I probably can tell you the reality is that they're not. They're probably fine dining at the end of the day.

The GTP GT6 forums however, now that's scrabbling round like headless chickens trying to figure something out. That's the reality of it.

I like surprises. I don't like being told 'we'll probably give you something later in the month', and then not getting anything.
So now you know the future, or you're griping for the sake of it. Just in case, listen... I really need a lottery jackpot... :D

And from all the journo's visits to PD's headquarters, I can tell you that they're probably eating take out at their workstations.

No, I know the past, and I don't want that to happen again :p
Fair play. But it's just another way of saying that PD or GT will never change. In some ways, they and GT don't change. I'll give you that. In so many other ways, it's as if they've created the second coming of "The Real Driving Simulator."

That's the nature of many work environments. Things come up, sure. You still have your deadlines and "sorry things came up" is rarely a good excuse.

Yea, people on game forums like to act like game developers are the only people that run into unexpected problems and issues with their work. Happens everywhere. Except everywhere else tired and way too often repeated excuses don't get you a free pass.

I'd call it "mindless speculation", while those who take part in it are all wearing one of these:

EDIT: BTW, that's not me in the picture.

I was reading an article and the owner of the Lotus 97T also happens to be the owner of the 98T and the 99T. Maybe those two will also be a DLC in a near future?

Interesting to know. Abit optimistic to think we'll get those cars as well because:

1. We're unsure if the license to classic Lotus F1 cars extends beyond the 97T
2. While he indeed owns the 98T and 99T, are both of those Senna's cars? If not, that might be an issue.

Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this car in GT3 as the F687/S or was it the 99T?

Who is it that owns those cars? Are they part of a private collection?

Well seeing the whole world remembered Senna on May 1st, i'd say they missed the event yes. They released a video.... impressive 👍

By all means it's not the revolution in DLC nor the monthly packs they said it was gonna be. A patch here and there doesn't count...

Again; one car every couple of months, or a patch doesn't make up for what was mentioned before release.

Yes, the world remembered Senna on the 1st. May 1st was about honoring Senna, it wasn't about us. The video did a much better job of honoring him than adding a car of his or something into a video game. There is no reason that the in game content should have been due on the first and we were never promised it on the 1st.

eeeehhhhh...the first new cars or tracks came out 11 months after GT5 launched. So I'd say we're pretty well ahead of the curve on that one. We we're also told that we wouldn't be getting monthly tracks at the beginning of march. It sucks, but they communicate to us that the plan was monthly tracks but that fell through. We were also told that they are still working on tracks though.

What do you mean patches don't make up for it? The patches ARE what was mentioned before release. I'd also love to hear about how the Senna content was the ONLY promise they didn't break.

Oh, and just a heads up. We've gotten more cars since GT6 came out then there have been months since launch...so it's not really one car every couple of months...

Not really. Hopes and dreams are more nebulous. Expectations are things that you reasonably expect to happen. They're all on the same scale I guess, but hopes and dreams are at one end and expectations are at the other.

Investing emotion and passion in hopes and dreams can be a road to disappointment, because they might not happen. If they were more attainable, they wouldn't be hopes and dreams. Expectations are more solid, and it's more sensible to invest significant emotion in them.

Take this upcoming DLC as an example. We have no idea what's in it, apart from that it somehow relates to Senna's career. It's pretty hard to be passionate about that, because what's there to be passionate about? We don't know anything, and there's a pretty wide range of what that DLC could end up being.

Any passion about the DLC is based upon Polyphony's reputation, the expectation that they will produce a quality product because they're Polyphony. Still not hopes and dreams, though.

I can hope all sorts of things will be in the DLC, but what drives my passion is my strongest beliefs as to what the DLC will likely contain, my expectations for it.
But investing emotion in the rational and expected is a bit safe, isn't it? Where's the passion?
Hopes and dreams can be based on reason, and still be unattainable. They can also come true regardless.

I don't think that passion is the right word to use at all in respect of our expectations of DLC for a commercial product, it all seems a bit trite and overwrought.

The fact remains: we should separate what demonstrably is and what could be.
Remember also that passion, etymologically, means "to suffer". ;)
