Senna (The Movie)

That's horrible. Then what happened in 2001?

We're straying off topic so to end this point, Villeneuve ran straight into the back of Ralf Schumacher at Brundle's corner in 2001. His car did a vertical aileron roll/stroke/somersault. A wheel came off and fatally struck a marshall.

The last fatality at an F1 event.

Post script: Tree'd.

Top Gear interviewed Alain Prost today and, as one might guess, it is a very interesting interview on many subjects. To the end they ask him about the movie and his opinion is clear, and not surprising. He thinks the movie "not honest".

I think it's only fair that I mention that I got this link from a official "Senna the Movie" tweet, it's good that the guys in charge don't try to cover up a relevant negative opinion.

I agree with him, Prost seemed to be portrayed as a villain. It's a brilliant movie though.
