You very seriously might not want to do that.
You have not seen Tony do what I have seen Tony do with the LFA.

At Eiger Nordwand on SH's, if you can imagine that.

Hmm, have Vette, SLS and LFA left, after wasting the Viper with a dismal race on GVS. Judging from the previous tracks, the SLS will probably feel the nicest to drive, but prove too slow ultimately, with the Vette probably fastest out of the three.

Anyone got a secret on how to be fast in the SLS?

All I can say is go with rear-biased brakes, 4/5 or 3/5.

I wouldn't consider the Vette over the Viper on anything other than really high speed tracks. The Viper has too much more grip.

The Murcielago may prove well here if anyone has one left. Loose car for the tight track.
458 is proba ly prime choice, expect a field of them.

I couldn't drag much out of the ACR. Anyone know if we should short shift it (ACR) or run it to the redline?

I was shifting with the light at Laguna Seca and short-shifting the 1-2 shifts for getting out of turn1 and the last corner.

Thanks I'll try that.

The only time you want to shift even 1ms before the limiter is if wheelspin is a concern.
The ACR has, for whatever reason, one of the peakiest powerbands in the game... Hence the 5th gear "plug". (actually it hits 210+ stock eventually, higher than 458, LFA or SLS)

I wont show for this weeks race. Hopefully im back for nürburgring :)

He was WOT at the start, so it's not that.

Probably had something to do with the fact that I happened to start on the rubbered in line :dopey:

After qualy, I remember telling Tim that I was quite content starting from 2nd spot, as I not only would have the superior surface grip starting from that spot, but it would also potentially give me the inside line on the run up to the rather awkward turn 1.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the next race at Suzuka. Sounds like it might be a bit of a spec race torward the front

I'm really struggling to get a fast time at Suzuka. Granted, I only practiced for about an hour but my pace is terrible! I may have to blame it on my cold :P

Looks like it :nervous:

What is a good (read as: top 4-5) time at this track? w-g-e did a 2:09.3 in a 458 and I have sectors for a 9.7 in both the ACR and ZR1 (I was looking a 57.8 T1 only to snap oversteer into the sand).

Could an ACR match the 458?, are uppe 8s low 9s fast?

Just did a 2 man practices session.
He did a 9.4 in the lambo with time still left and I did a 9.9 in the ACR with about 0.4 left.

Looks like a sub 9.5X will be needed and epic tire wear from the ACR to make it competitive.

I did Gate tonight, so I'll be on for practice sometime tomorrow evening/night.

"He who shall remain nameless" eh, carracer?

I would like to participate for the final two races, if I may. Whip myself back into shape maybe. It's a shame I didn't know about this series earlier, although I'm not a fan of series in general. I kind of don't wish to impact anyone's championship or anything, so that makes me a little hesitant. But if I'll be allowed, I would really like to. Thanks for putting it on!

Man, I've been wondering where you've been. I know you don't run a lot of series but it's good to see you back 👍

I was forced to take a leave while my pedals were out of commission last year. But even still, I tend not to be easy to find, hah. But thanks, it's nice to be welcomed! (or even remembered, hah) I'll also happily take some photos of the races - want to try to do that again.

Hey, I just didn't want to throw your name in until after you signed up. Why spoil the surprise :sly:

Longbow! :dopey:

Of course you're free to join us. I already blew my long-shot chance at the championship last week anyways. :dunce:

I'm really unfortunate with my time yet again..:indiff:
Can anyone qualify me soon?:scared:

Room number: 1472 - 4710 - 9952 - 5896 - 6712

2:09.373 (clean)

I have only competed in 1 race so far, so I can use any car except the 458. What car best suits Suzuka? I'm having a hard time with the Viper!

The LP 670 (Lambo) looks like a good choice.

Well, great! (Although I'm not cheering you blowing your championship hopes. XD) I look forward to facing you guys. Should be fun.

I'll test it out :)

I concur about the LP670. Although I'm partial to the Ford GT as well.

Going by the results the lambo has been pretty decent everywhere... apparently audi does make good lamborghinis. I'll be in the F.GT.

I had to rush qualifying. Had two 2'08.8's in practise so it's a bit disappointing but hope to have a better race this time.

outlaw4rc - 2:09.657 clean

Oh dear... I don't know if I have chance to qualify today :s Hopefully I will find a spare few minutes and set a time!

I was going to say I'll be way too far back to be an issue, but I overachieved and ran a 2:09.657 after being stuck in 2:10 land for an eternity...

...okay, I'll still won't be a threat other than to myself. Going to take a beach vacation during the race, just don't know where yet.

Something just came up so I won't make it this Sunday.
Sorry all.
