Hey all, I just got my computer hooked up to my TV for ricahrd burns rally, and the DFP is all working and such ;-)

Now, how do I get 900 degree steering and force feedback to work?

Thanks all! :-)

check out www.bhmotorsports.com/rbr

they have everything you want about RBR.

I reccomend setting the lock to 540.
for your ingame setting, change the steering lock to 792 for your setups for each car.
turn spring force and center spring force all the way down.

I also reccomend using the paddles for shifting, and the shifter for a handbreak.

but u can do it vice versa if you want.

I reccomend downloading the 2005 subaru WRC, and the new sound pack that has more realistic sounds. they've got plenty of new skins and mods for the games. More new cars are on the way. :)
My pc is currently broken so i havent played rbr for 2 weeks now.

there is also a new multiplayer mod where people race against eachother just like in WRC.

Same problem here. Can't find the right setup for my pedals.

In Main options ==> filter settings ==> input devices ==> Steering, Throttle, Foodbrake

Axis:

curvature and curvature 2 , Max. Fade, Saturation speed, Rise rate and Fall Rate

I don't know what to do with these settings and what these settings mean!! :guilty:
I don't know what they exactly do :indiff: My English isn't my first language, so it's difficult to exactly understand what these "settings" mean and "do".

First off all: I want to make the brakes respond less sensitive. The wheels always lock up, with the slightest touch of the brake pedal.
Changed the Rise Rate, but suddenly couldn't brake at all.

first of all, i hope you all got the 4.6 drivers for the dfp!? if not check this thread:

kikie,

make sure that whenever you started RBR for the first time, before you do your first stage, depress the brake pedal fully a few times so that it calibrates itself. if you don't do this the brake will be at 100% even if you only slightly depress it.
if that does not help and you still think the brake is too strong, you could reduce the braking force in your setup or you could change the values for "curvature 1 or 2" so that the brake force is not applied as strongly in the lower range. the problem of that is that the brake becomes non linear.
for the steering, do the axis settings for the steering all the way to the left and setup the wheel in the software like gabkicks has described it.

Remember, the 900 degree feature isn't copmatible with all games. Its probably not liking the PC either

RBR supports the DFP on both the PC and ps2. (PC is better cus you can adjust the steering lock + force feedback, it has online play, and new cars and tracks to download. :) 👍
