I doubt the "stock" would be the most authentic way to experience any of the sport cars in the game as the PD allignement settings are often wrong...

Its RKM's tune so theres a 99.9% its the best SP1 tune ever

Thanks for the tune :). You say theres a 99% chance it's the best SP1 tune. If someone thinks they have a better tune feel free to post your tune.

Let the tune war begin!!!

EDIT: I've added a poll. Please Vote :).

Most of the RKM tunes I've tried have too much understeer. (using a G27 setup)

it takes 15 minutes of grinding to afford this car. Seriously. You're wasting time posting this thread.

So how does it compare to the other Ferraris? I haven't driven it yet.

EDIT: I now have every single Ferrari in the game!!!

EDIT 2: It says turn skid recovery force off but turning it on will make me go faster, right?

Driver assists never make you go faster, they only slow you down. ABS 1 is all you need and you'll be much faster.

Skid recovery actually makes you go faster. But the game with that aid on is no longer a simulator, since it defies the laws of physics.

I tried it with and without skid recovery. Skid recovery is faster... I know it defies the laws of physics but if you are faster with it why not use it?

Because some people, like me, are after an experience not a result. I don't care about being faster, I car about developing the skill to control a car in a realistic scenario and hopefully transfer that skill to real-world driving ;).

Back on topic, I reccomend you an Azzuro paint job for your SP1, it'll make it look even more heavenly. It really is a gorgeous looking, sounding and handling thing. Here's a review I made about it a while ago.

The Azzuro colourshift? And I prefer realism as well but when you are grinding you want to get the most money in the shortest amount of time and Skid Recovery helps you do that

Because the game is supossed to be the real driving simulator, a test of skills, not an arcade game. With that aid on, the game becomes arcadeish.

If the game was supposed to be a simulator why did Yamauchi put Skid Recovery Force in the game?

The Azzuro colourshift?

I don't remember. I know it's called plainly "Azzuro". It may be from Alfa Romeo, I really don't remember. Try any unconventional colour that suits the divine character of the car, you'll see it really matches it.

Yes, you're right about the shortest amount of time for most money in grinding, but to each their own. I prefer to still have a realistic experience, even when grinding. Skid Recovery Force was implemented in the game for people who didn't do as well with how demanding simulation can be and want a more arcade-y feel to it, in order not to frustrate the casual player. That's what's great of GT, it can cater both tastes hardcore and casual.

I'm not a casual gamer, and I have no problem controlling the car without Skid Recovery. I just thought I'll say that. If you saw my link to the paint trading thread in the 1st post of this thread you'll see I have a limited time to play which is why I use Skid Recovery. If I had more time to play I probably wouldn't use Skid Recovery.

Look at post 1848. It should say #1848 in blue in the top right hand corner of the post.

I understand about your limited time but whats it gonna gain you? 2 secs a lap?? turn them all off and drive like a real man lol!!

PS: I was just getting bored of the game until I turned off the aids. and im actually quicker without them which I found out on the expert seasonals, I only won them when I had everything else off but abs at 1 or 2

I am a real man. And I'll turn the Skid Recovery Force OFF. Is there anything else you want me to do? I always have all the other aids off apart from ABS which I usually have on 1.

EDIT: What does PS stand for?

Don't worry, I'm not trying to criticize you or saying you're not a serious GT driver, or man, because of that. I understand your point, but you asked why was SRF added to the game and I just answered :).

Postscript.
