Did a practice run in a Honda Fit through Stage 1, then got Bronze on my first try with the Fiat with several combos robbed from me by petty contact from the AI drifting over and hitting me as I was passing them and also had a shoddy HDMI cable that liked to black out my screen at critical points on the run.

After that, I joined a lobby and had a go on the track in a Toyota 7 and ran an 8:50 despite a few errors and overall driving fairly conservatively.

I'm glad we have it, and I really love these updates.

Maybe I haven't spent enough time on it yet, but I would have preferred it to be more like a nice stretch of road rather than a track. I was hoping for a windier, bumpier, and (dare I say) slower road. I wanted imperfections like potholes and rough/broken patches of pavement, maybe even some cobblestone through a small town/village. I would have given up some scenery for more varied road surfaces.

As of now, it feels like it's a random (albeit) long track from GT5's course maker, specifically Mt. Aso.

I'll continue to drive on it, and again, I really appreciate the ongoing (free) updates! But so far, it's not what I thought it was going to be. I may come around though.

Would it be possible to ask PD for the same circuit but without the rails...Like a non-Rally version...

I cant wait to try this tonight... my PS3 and updated GT6 are ready to go... i have kept my daily login bonus up to date in anticipation to the free money coming with this update!
30,000,000 here i come !

Just complete one of the challenges and you get it in Arcade.

And on a side note; the game kind of glitched on me and gave me a full 200% login bonus, even though I haven't played in like two weeks :D

Are you saying that in arcade, there is no rails...

I will check it out as soon as i am done with the rally...

LOVE this track! Only had 3 laps, but it seems fast and at the same time manageable. Tomorrow morning I am hosting a public room with low pp classics for about an hour and we are definitely going to try this out. It just seems suited to classics. 5 AM eastern if anyone's interested. Send me a FR if you want :D. Anyway, great job PD - thank you so much

What's the voice over everyone is talking about? I have none of that...
Do you run with the HUD off? I normally use no HUD and didn't have the voice or sound effects on my 1st run. Ran it a second time after turning the HUD on to see the scoring and they were there. Only ran the track twice so far. Not sure if that was the reason or it's just glitchy.

Couple laps under the belt, really like the track 👍

Looking forward to exploring it, and seeing all the creative ways to use it that the online community comes up :)

If they fix the FFB on it, it'll be one of my favorite tracks in game. It's still pretty good though.

I've only done the Main races and haven't tried other cars on it yet but I love this track. Something different for a change. Not hard like Nord. but still exciting. It's going to take me awhile to memorize the corners. My only gripe is the "shuddering" at time of the screen. Mostly seems to happen after the checkpoints. Hopefully PD can fix this.
Thanks PD!

I must say it is awesome to read all of the feedback on this new behemoth of a track. It seems overly positive.

I will be updating GT on the weekend to hopefully squeeze a lap or two in.

Didn't think I would like the track let alone enjoy it, but i do (ignoring the FFB issue). Anything past 500pp would be too much for this track IMO to enjoy.

With all the up's and down's you would think there would be more blind turn's on the track, but I can only remember 1 or 2 that take you a little by surprize. One other turn is a little hard but no that blind.

I like it, i'm glad I have something new to drive/take pictures on. It wasn't what I was expecting it to be though. I was expecting long winding, switchback roads, and chicanes, like the Stelvio Pass. If I were to change one thing about it, for arcade mode, I would have removed the artificial barriers, rubble strips, and sponsors to make it more like a road. The water is poorly modeled as well as anything that is "bellow" the road, but it doesn't bother me that much. In the end, it is a free track. Can't really complain about that.

I can't find it anywhere through searching and I haven't downloaded the patch yet, so I have to ask:

What are the prize money awards in all of these three Zahara/Sierra events (with no login bonus) ? And do the Practice sections of Zahara/Sierra pay us any credits like the ol' Mercedes-AMG Special Events from GT5 did ?

Its a brilliant track. But it is not to be driven on by race-cars. for example, in an online race (14ppl) i drove a 555PP Ferrari SP1 against 4 97T's a couple of group c's LMP's and FT1 VGT's, and i only finished 20 seconds behind the freaking 97T's!!!! everyone was just constantly crashing, it was ridiculous! Street cars work wonderfully with the track, but race-cars? NO!

Had a great time driving this track last night. Really enjoyed it, and like the alternate gameplay offered by the special event. Clever diversification, and I was thinking it showed how good the GT engine is to allow this different kind of gameplay pretty seamlessly. Great.

you might get a cool 3 mil without online bonuses ;)

Very nice track !
I tested it with 400pp cars and loved it.

I think that it could have been fun if the track had entered a town at some point and go throught it during a few turns but it is already excellent as it is !

As other said, It seems that some sections will not fit for powerful cars (super cars, race cars, etc) but maybe when we will know the Sierra better, we will have a different opinion.

It's OK, but to me it feels like it was made by the GT5 course creator. It does not feel like a real world location.
I agree, but I still enjoy the track. Good effort PD. 👍

It isn't overly technical, but it's scenic and good for photomode users. I can't wait to take a car of my own on it tonight.
