Quick question.. I did a quick search but didnt come up with anything.. Has anyone purchased the add-on (GT500) yet? I had purchased it last week, and it still hasnt shown up. Ive contacted about 4 different Sony Playstation phone numbers, and a few forums and nobody seems to be able to help me.

If you have bought the add-on where did the car show up?

Thanks for any help.. Seeing as how everyone Ive talked to from Playstation seems to be a useless tit!! Gotta love the FU%^ING support the Playstation network/store has:tdown: This will be the first and last add-on I will be purchasing from PlayStation!

Also, I apologize for the tone of my post.. Im just getting quite frustrated with the lack of support and the fact that someone sells a product but offers little to NO support.

Do you mean you've succesfully completed the IRL purchase and entered a code, or that you're still waiting for a code to arrive?

Maybe you could edit the OP too... people might feel a little more helpful?

I believe it's one of the stealth cars, isn't it?

The Shelby GT500 (IRL) is a super-duper 'Stang thang made most famous as 'Eleanor' in the dreadfully-scripted Gone in Sixty Seconds.

EDIT: Looking through the car list I see the Shelby GT350 there but not the GT500. I wonder if the OP is referring to the Gran Turismo GT-R GT500 'Stealth' code? If so then check your own garage or try looking the the Gran Turismo garage in the Dealership.

.

Dreadfully scripted:grumpy: It's one of my favourite films! A really badly scripted (and directed) film is Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. Nice cars and stunts but rubbish scripts and CGI scenes.👎

The OP must be on about the GTR GT500 stealth code.

Let's be fair. You purchased (or redeemed) an add-on from PSN. You download the add-on, installed it. That's the extend the PSN rep might know.

You claim your prize in game. All games are different. Dead Space 2 and Mass Effect 2 has their own network within a network. Your prize car is in the delivery truck.

Sorry, what I meant was I have not heard of a DLC GT500. I am 100% positive OP is referring to the GT-R stealth.

That's okay, I knew what you meant. It seems the OP is referring to the Shelby GT500 though... that is after all what he called the thread!

@NFSCARBON1, the concept and execution of GiSC is utterly excellent. There are some appallingly mawkish scenes in it though, especially the one where Cage has a dialogue with the big black police dude towards the end of the film. That won several bad scriptwriting awards and rightly so.

It's one of my favourite films too :D

Oh yh forgot about that bit :dunce: Then again a lot of Cage's films are like that, especially the National Treasure films. I'd like to see this GT500 as well

Rest In Peace Caroll Shelby... The GT350 is the Mustang-Style racecar of Shelby fame circa 1965(top speed 135mph/The GT500 STEALTH comes from here, GTP), as a redeemable code in Playstation Store.
There are rumours that the GT5 Design-Team created a Shelby-Inspired Cobra/Mustang gone GT500-Class. If I envisioned it: just like MUSTANG350 with 240MpH top-end...

Yeah, I assume you mean the Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth Model. If you've redeemed your code and downloaded it from the PS Store, and then start up GT5 it should say the car was added to your garage in a pop-up screen when the game is starting up/loading.

Your tittle, [ Shelby GT500 ]
Hmm the GT500 Shelby in DLC form DOES not exist. And your last parragrath certainly make you look a fool shouting off about something that does'nt exist in GT5. Maybe your confused with another game. ROPMSL :dunce:
Now as stated above im sure you mean the Nissan GTR500 stealth and unfortunately its expired. LOL

... and unfortunately its expired.
Not entirely sure about that if it's a redeem code, mine is expired as well but I've seen people post their codes and they had different expiry dates (in 2012 for example).

It wasnt available in the USA like here so the only way to get in the USA was buy the DLC pack that GT500 was given for The USA getting DLC a week late and now the download for the GT500 has expired, It lasted a few weeks only.

ps. my signature edition codes expire Dec 2012.

Oh ok, didn't exactly know if/when the "make up" download expired. Well, then I assume that could be the issue here yes.

Actually, we got the NSX GT500 Stealth because of the late DLC. That code has expired. We got the GT-R GT500 Stealth in celebration of the finale of the GT Academy program that was on Speed. That code doesn't expire until January 30, 2012. Here is the code for anyone who hasn't got it yet:

RD69-FJN9-5N6Q

I know this code works in the U.S., not sure about other countries.

PS: To the guy that said "RIP Carroll Shelby", he's not dead.

Why did you brought up a 10 month old thread?

Why would you put (Rest In Peace Caroll Shelby) in your post. I didn't know he died as far as I know he is still very much alive and kicking.

Actually the op is talking about the Shelby gt500 just like he said in his question. I have seen the very same car when the first DLC was released, however when I went back to get the download code the car had been removed. I thought that was strange but just moved on. Nobody ever said anything about it here so I just forgot about it, but for a few minutes at least it was there and then it was gone. Don't fret shoguy99 you are not going crazy, it WAS there, you are not loosing your mind.👍

Am I the only one who sees it? The OP is trolling!

Locking old, dead thread that should have stayed old and dead.
