Shelby is crap....

Waitaminit...you paid for a Cobra?

:rotfl:

Sorry, j/k.

But you need only to finish the Professional Spider & Roadster races in order to win a Cobra. Then you can blow all of your money fixing it up (works quite well - I think you'd be surprised!).

well after you have beatin the game plenty of times and all you dont care if you buy or win cars you just play for fun of driving and going other things

this is to the topic starter why not appreiate the cobra i thoughtyou were a ford fan, if so ford and shelby go hand in hand and crappy car or not together they have made some nice cars and the cobra is a great vehicle

for me the ac shelby cobra is the best car ever made.
just look in any forum of the racing cars and you we'll find it .
the number speak by them self the american beast (the viper)
is only 0.1 seconds faster tham cobra in 0-60 test
the cobra from 0-60 in only 3.7 seconds.
the new porshe (420 hp twin turbo all whell drive) made it in 3.8 too.
remember we are talking about one 30years old car .
so whats that mean you have to show some respect to old school cars specialy this one.

I LOVE 427 SC.

This is a great car, I think, but very tricky to handle. Both in GT3 and probably in reality. (I haven't driven one, unfortunately, but I have driver very high powered older cars and learned you need a fine touch).

Anyway, the History Channel occasionally re-runs an Automobiles shows it did on Shelby, which explains a lot about the Cobra and it's development. One thing it shows is that they learned the AC body could only go so fast aerodynamically, limiting its top speed.

Also, to get an idea about how tricky this car is, remember that, unlike the GT3 version, you could not have things like ASM and TCS on the thing.

Not really a classic car man myself. Peice of History? :clock: Well yea, I guess it was good in it's time but why would you want to drive one now? :gcar:

I don't hate it as such, just don't like it, it looks old :skull:, it is old :mummy:

Does anyone like the way it drives? Remember to see how it would Really drive by turning the ASM and TCS off :rotfl:

Thanks for tellin

o.k some people's only think about gt3 ( nothing bad about it)

but in the real life we don't have a car like gt3 viper-gto=zonda 1000hp+ or one escudo 1887 hp.
we have reals cars like lambos, maserati, viper, porshe, ferraris
and no one of those great machines can beat the cobra in the real life( execpt the viper)

i think you are no read my post
a few of them have: LSM,AWD,WIDER TIRES,SPECIAL AREODINAMIC KIT,SPOILERS,6 SPEED TRANS,TURBO EVEN
TWINT TURBOS, and a lot of things but the cobra no.

the cobra is combination of a big motor and a lite shassis
no one ever espect the cobra legacy, even carol shelby.
( yes the father of viper-mustang gt350 and gt500-dodge daytona-ccx and a lot more.
this man was real racer winner, boss of manys racin crews, and designer
fron he's owm cars ( a few of them)

so let me tell you something cobra haters.
if you or yours friend show me one spider stock faster than my ac cobra ( exept the f50) i wi'll shut up :tapedshut my self and that it
you win.

no special or up grade packages a stock production car runing in u.s keep on mind.

yes i challenging you so if think you can do it try it
don't loose the chance to make look like a stupid ( if you can)

sorry if i'm goin mad but i wi'll no tolerate people's try to piss in my cobra.

so be carefull about what you say.

I never liked British style. The only two exceptions are the Vanquish and the Mini. But you have to respect the power to wieght ratio of the Cobra. The only sad thing is that it has been horribly cheapened by kit car manufacturers. I respect its past, but for all who claim you like cars for their history- i once again point at the GT40. I seem to mention it in every post i make. But oh well. Also, not being a fan of British styling, I also long for the re-inclusion of the 350 and 500 as in GT2
