@Kamuifanboy The Auto GP cars are as I understand the Lola chassis originally used in the first couple seasons of A1GP. Now if that is the case, do you know the chassis of your car? Reason I ask is because several years ago I saw A1GP cars in a street demonstration - i'm wondering if your chassis might be one of the one's I saw....

I'm not sure of the chassis number but, I do know that my front wing is from A1 team Germany because the case for that wing and SKU number on my wing match that case. It's possible my chassis had Nico Hulkenburg behind the wheel! :bowdown:

I wish Auto GP was able to pick up the 2nd gen A1 GP car. The one with the Ferrari engine and 2003 Ferrari tub. Would be immensely fast. Shame that all of those are sitting in some garage waiting for someone to pay for the debt that the series ran into.

Might have seen that german car. I know i've seen Malaysia, China, Lebanon, UK, Italy, and Malaysia or Australia (was a yellow one).

Agreed the Ferrari's had so much potential. Still loved the Lola-Zyteks. Those engines where about only part that didn't break :lol:

The engine is everywhere really. It was originally designed for the old LMP660* and is now being used in both WSR and Auto GP downtuned to 550HP. That is what Taki Inoue told me at least. The engine is a beauty. Sounds great for the spectators. Oddly, sounds like a V6 in the cockpit. I'll have the Go Pro Hero 3+ footage up on YouTube when I return to Japan Sunday evening.

Hearing one of them revving to full revs in a tight city street was insane I tell ya.

You mean LMP675 or LMP900?

Really has to be one of the highlights of my career so far. Being on the biggest Motorsports news site was quite awesome.

Well, I figure that I better do a Red Bull Ring post sometime!

Linked with the European Le Mans series event this time around, the amount of track time was very limited. Just one 45 minute practice session, along with qualifying, and 2 races. In practice, I spent the better half of 40 minutes or so, shaking down the car, radio transmission checks, new brake pad wear ins, and learning a brand new circuit. For the final 5 minutes, I put together a fee good laps and the final lap happened to put me P1 in the session. (Video posted below) In qualifying, I wasn't completely satisfied with the balance of the car but, was still able to qualify P3, which was the highest qualifying position that I have achieved so far. In race 1, the entire odd numbered lane got very bad starts, and I fell back to P6, where I would drive alone about 6 seconds behind the lead pack for the entire race. In race 2, a stall on the formation lap saw me starting from the pit lane. After a pit lane start, I was able to consistently run fastest laps of the race, re-setting the times being set by myself. By the end of the race I had worked up to P4 and was chasing down P3 at a rate of about 1 second per lap. Unfortunately I needed a lap or two more to overtake but, had to settle for P4 just 2 car lengths behind P3.








I will likely be unveiling a new helmet in my next race, painted by Oktane Visual from the United States. Can't wait to release information about my next race but, I have to wait for press releases to go out first.​
