Somehow I just think there was a guy who shot the sh** out of the car and sold it as a cop car that had been in a shoot out. I've never seen or heard of a shoot out that big, unless that car was in the North Hollywood Shootout, but I highly doubt that the car would still be around.

Good theory. Who knows? I would definately call it fake. Possibly an ex-movie car used in a movie shoot-out? The car may not work, so the guys thought they'd try to get some fame by shooting out the car themselves and making money. Some people do go to extraordinary lengths sometimes. Who knows?
