no, i really don't think they should be let in, i mean, it would completely ruin the game, having such cool cars in and all, it defeats the purpose

seriously, i will not buy this game if Ferrari and Lambo are in it, and espessially if Porshe is in it, its bad enough that Ruf is in it....

You might want to look at Had Ferrari and Porsche made it into GT4.

Polyphony Digital has made it their personal goal to include as many cars as possible into the Gran Turismo series, due to licensing problems with some brands some obvious choices of cars have not been able to make it in.

In this light, a discussion titled "Should Ferrari and Lamborghini be allowed into GT4?" is quite useless.

You might also have noticed a thread titled Ferrari. Lambo. Porsche. that was posted - and closed - this very morning.

In all honesty, do people think that PD is neglecting these makers because they just don't feel like modelling the cars or something? Ten seconds' worth of coherent thought should tell you there must be a reason they haven't included them.
